I haven't gotten out much lately in places like this. Are those bright white lights as bright as they appear? Is this the way of the future? My goodness! I prefer warmer looking light bulbs.

Very nice quality video, Natasha. I like how you showed a variety of perspectives while filming during this drive. May I ask how you were able to film the drive so well in dark conditions. Whenever I try and film a night drive somewhere, I get super bright flares from oncoming traffic and other light sources which are distracting.
@NatashaKvitka2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! To be honest, I can only attribute this to camera being placed rather high on the vehicle, so probably light angles are so that do not generate flares. Other than that, no tricks :)

A couple of silly questions, but I see you drove on a 3-lane road. What speed, on average, is the left, middle and right lane? And the part where you drove on the 2-lane, it’s obviously the left as the faster and the right side slower, correct? Thanks 😊
@NatashaKvitka2 жыл бұрын
Hey Manolito, thanks for watching! As to your question, I would say that on a highway with 100 km/h limit, it's usually close to it on the rightmost line, and around 125 km/h on the leftmost. With everything in between on middle lanes :) Right lanes are the slowest.
@manolitoaguirre902 жыл бұрын
@@NatashaKvitka thanks! 👌🏻 Another question, if I were to drive on the highway with 4 lanes, just to clarify, the 1st (farthest left) is the fastest, the 2nd and 3rd (middle) are in-between and the last (farthest right) is the slowest…?

Hey Kyei, congratulations on coming to study in Canada soon! To be honest, I don't find Finch area not safe or scary. For that matter, I don't find scary any other area in Toronto as well. It feels quite safe everywhere I lived or visited. I hope you will find Toronto fascinating!

@@NatashaKvitka Well, now I'm even more impressed with the video knowing we are in a Cadillac (even if it is just an SUV). Personally, I prefer the '70's Cadillac styles (Fleetwood particularly). I guess, I'll have to resort to driving a classic car, if I want that certain style & distinction. Thanks, Natasha!

A beautiful country but just from the sky. I came from a 3rd world country in the Middle East. I thought Canada is a developed and first-world country like European countries, the US, Japan, South Korea, Australia, News Land, and Singapore with the western standard, and also I thought is one of the best. The first time 2018 I arrived in Vancouver, I was shocked. I saw a lot of homelessness, trash, crime, ugly urbanism, and rusty houses in downtown and east Vancouver. I saw, homeless people, pooping and peeing everywhere and it's so common. nobody cares. I was shocked again. I endured for 3 years but every day going worst. late in 2022I decided to move to the east coast because I thought that place has a stronger culture. I chose Montreal. I had heard it is the capital of art and civilization in Canada. it was absolutely wrong. Canada is Canada. I was shocked again, again, and again. the wave of homelessness, graffiti, vandalism, bad smell, terrible infrastructure especially roads in or out of the city, and above all, you can see trash everywhere. plastic bags, tissues, water bottles, and disposable cups. You cannot see any street or park or public place without these. This is impossible. surprisingly nobody cares. neither the people nor the government!!!!!!! please, don't be fooled by the advertisement about a good Canada. please, be careful. most of the things about a good Canada are deception.

Well! I'm stunned, to hear this news. You say you watched people, while they pooped & peed? My goodness! You should have been polite and turned away from them in their "private" moments. What a shame it is, that they couldn't find a restroom in time.

too many digital billboards and screens in my opinion. They are annoying, distracting, eye-straining and especially harmful to the residents living nearby. We don't have so many digital screens in the US (Denver). I like street lighting (mild yellow LED, not very bright white LED). I also dislike about Toronto too many residential towers clustered together. They are not comfortable to live in.
@Galaxyshooter1162 жыл бұрын
This is only the downtown area. In Scarborough which is east Toronto you have valleys lots of nature and you can see the stars.

...but they're pretty at night. How are the lights harmful to the residents living nearby? Are they kept awake at night or something?
