Before we go out and start demanding our own separate country, lets at least fix the current problems we are faced with. I agree with the concept of Khalistan, an independent and free Sikh state, however I dont feel it is realistically achievable at the moment and the first step to achieving it should be education and fixing the problems we currently have.

Will you be coming back to Toronto again? I just recently found your channel and have been around Sikhi all my life because growing up it was constantly taught to us by family. I used to have a guti as a young kid, but then my parents got it cur because they thought it was make life easier for me growing up in Canada...however, now I'm regretting that they had to do this and want to grow my hair and wear a dustar. I'm 24 now and just fighting a battle within myself over whether I should do this or not because there is no turning back and that is what I guess kind of scares me. You're channel has been really helping me just get a better understanding of our religion. Thank you!

These are not just Sikh Gurus. These are Jagat Gurus, from Guru Nanak to Guru Gobind Singh and now Guru Granth Sahib. Guru Granth Sahib is the only Sat Guru now and until the end of time. What kind of sikh are you saying ninda of gurus will be allowed? This is Khalsa Raj, there is no room for weakness. Truth is the foundation, set by Guru Nanak. Yet, where the Khalsa walks, they will make that place Khalistan because true Khalsa walks in the Hukam of Waheguru and brings truth on this world. +Amlan Kishore Bhindranwale was not a creation of Indira Gandhi. Bhindranwale was the Jathedar (head) of the Damdami Taksal. Damdami Taksal is a very important and well respected institution in Sikhi. He already had power in the Sikh community before he even got introduced to Congress. That's the reason Indira Gandhi chose him to come to Congress, Indira wanted an important person in her party so she will get more votes from the Sikhs, when Bhindranwale found out about Indira's plan, he left Congress and he wasn't even in congress for that long. Also Bhindranwale didn't live inside the Golden Temple. In the Golden Temple complex there are two Gurdwaras, one the Harimander Sahib and the other Akal Takht Sahib. Bhindranwale lived in the Akal Takht Sahib, the reason why is because the Sikhs told him to. Our sixth Guru, Guru Hargobind Sahib ji made the Akal Takht Sahib and he would make his head Khalsa army generals live inside the Akal Takht and would also have weapons inside the Akal Takht as well, that's why the Sikhs told Bhindranwale to live in the Akal Takht. Since Bhindranwale had an army for the Sikhs, the Sikhs said he and his head generals belonged in the Akal Takht and that's what Bhindranwale did. Once again Bhindranwale did not ask for Khalistan, watch his speeches he makes it very clear that he isn't asking for Khalistan but neither is he against Khalistan. Also you said that militants killed hindus and journalists, those weren't Bhindranwale's men, those were the black cats. Black cats were sent by the government and they disguised as Bhindranwale's men and would go out stealing from people and killing people and raping women just to degrade Bhindranwale and his army because everyone in Punjab loved Bhindranwale including the Hindus. Bhindranwale also in many speeches said that we Sikhs have nothing against the Hindus, its the government we have a problem against. Bhindranwale wasn't a bad person, you are just brainwashed by the Indian Congress Propaganda that was fed to Indians in the 80's and is fed today as well.

I have full respect for them, they have love for the panth. But I would question if their efforts are going the right way. Unfortunately most of those organisations are run by old people who dont care anything about the opinions of someone who doesn;t have a white beard or comes from Punjab. Just think, sikhi originated in the indian subcontinent and islam came from arabia and still there are 2.5 crore sikhs in india while muslims are 25 crore. Almost 10 times. You are already part of a democratic system in India. Sikhs live all over India and talking about Punjab anyone can stand for an election in Punjab and win. Its not Pakistan, there is a democratic system in place called election. Bhai jugraj singh passed away due to cancer a couple years back, he is not asking for khalistan. He is saying if a political party of sikhs won an election and were in charge of a sovreign country we would do actions for the good of mankind and destroying people that bring tyranny and oppression to others, we are seeing Russia right now in Ukraine and we have seen the United States in Libya, Iraq and Syria.
