I think it's crucial to state: Pavel Zacha and Charlie Coyle have combined for more points than Bergeron and Krejci did last season. Zacha and Coyle this season: 46-73-119 Bergeron and Krejci last season: 43-71-114 The kicker here is that on one of Zacha's flanks is Danton First Leinen

I’m a Ranger fan. Figured I’d check out game. Leafs a no show. It was 4-0 start of 3rd and TV showed Leaf fans watching game on big screen outside their arena. Looked like nobody had left. My next thought was don’t these people have a life. The game was over 😂😂😂

I maintain that the only reason that MR was great last playoffs was because of having Luke Schenn as a DFD. MR can finally run free because he knows that LS will be in the right position Also, media keeps saying that these Leafs are better on paper, however, these same Leafs were swept by the Bruins this season. I watched the last game against the Bruins and every time the Leafs had the puck they were kept in the perimeter. If the Leafs offence gets neutralized - they're done and every playoffs - Leafs O is neutralized. It's the same pattern every year

The bruins are build to get 2 goals against on a normal night. On a good day 1, on a bad day 3-4. try to win 4 games against a team with pasta on it that doesn‘t let you score more than 2 goals most nights. Every single player on that team is defensively responsible. If you start to play poor d on the bruins you are the joke of the team basically. That mentality is worth so much, you are proud on their effort even on bad nights as a fan. Scoring points is just coming when you frustrate the other team. I mean it is kinda easy to win game when 2-3 goals are enough on most nights

As a Leaf Playoff Supporter - the Leafs Core 4 just failed against the Bruins for many straight games now. Why expect improved results now just because it is the playoffs? You just can’t win them all. Sammy looks like he has had his health issues again in his last two games - so I hope he is rested for the first round. Even if Boston wins in 4 straight - Leafs Playoff Supporters can still be positive. 😀

Im prepared for bruins in 4. Why? The lack of shanahan and the gm getting what the leafs need. Top 4 D. They signed klingberg lol. The fact is...other then rielly the leafs are nothing but a plethora of 3rd pairing dmen playing minutes they shouldn't be. The coach has nothing to due with the office lack of obtaining the actual needs of this team. As soon as Muzzin was injured permanently. Nothing notable was done to replace him. Get some damn top 4 D. Then see how the team is, before addressing goalies, coaches. The leafs simply do not have the defense to win this series and it entirely falls on the office for it. Bruins in 4 maybe 5. It will not go 7, and will not be a win for the leafs period.

If i was a betting man, Mathiews and Marner under perform, Leafs still beat Bruins, Sammy stands on his head and is near unstoppable, Leafs D mangle up the Bruins fwds, Reaves koes Maroon, Domi lays out Marchy and scores series winner, Bertuzzi 7 pts in rd 1. All this depends on Marner, if he tosses the puck over the glass again, if he doesnt, we win. And there will be a random Hab fan in the stands somewhere this series.

As a Leafs fan Bruins in 5. There is no evidence that the Leafs would magically be able to flip the switch and beat the Bruins a team they haven't won a single game against in a LONG time. Keep in mind the season the Bruins had last year where they were a historically great team that crashed out in the first round. Having two of their veterans, one being their captain, retire the way that they did I am sure they are not going to be easy to beat. Again Leafs need to win against the Bruins 4 times in 2 weeks. Let that sink in for a minute. Either the Leafs media are suffering from copium or they are hyping a series in order to get views.
