As a result netflix increases its prices to compensate for the loss due to the tax. You pay that dividend. To boil it down. Trudeau tells you he is looking out for you. When non-taxpayers funded media companies have to layoff because the advertising revenue dropped without the endless sources of funding from taxpayers' money.
