Hi Luke, I was wondering if you help with a question, You had the A4 TDI and I have a B7 A$ Avant TDI 170bhp, I have recently had a new clutch, master cylinder etc and since I have had the car back the car seems to accelerate quicker like there's to much fuel going in. I had an issue with the clutch switch so I have replaced this as this was causing high revs when changing up gears. That's sorted now. Have you experienced a problem like this before? Yes I will be going back to the garage but I like to try and do my own research as well. Could it be the accelerator pedal as this is electrical and was removed when master cylinder fitted, or any other ideas where to start? Thanks Luke. Keep up the great work and vids.

just weird that you can by the ibiza with the 2 liter engine and you can't buy the polo with thr 2 liter as they have the same base
@TorqueSteer4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I found that weird too. I think many people don’t know about them since the Polo never got it afaik. There seemed to be an A1 with it though.

Dude, I've got this car and due to have a celtic tuning 190 map put on, watching now but how much more torque does it feel like it has? Seems a little less on the common rail than the old 1.9 tdi cars, cheers!
@TorqueSteer4 жыл бұрын
Comparing it to my A4 which was a 2.0 PD 140 remapped to about 180, the Ibiza seems less torquey low down. It doesn’t have that initial lump of torque but revs more freely and pulls better higher up. Seems to be a trait of CR diesels. My Volvo D5 feels the same. Quite frankly, I like the low down surge of old diesels.
@apollo89724 жыл бұрын
I have a mk6 Golf GTD I assume this is the same engine mine is 170 Bhp. Anyone know how much it would cost to remap it to 190 plus BHP?
