Wow. Moussa is absolutely amazing. He renovated my bathroom, kitchen and laundry some years ago. Anyone who sees them always say how great they look. Moussa has managed to continue giving his all, even though at times, he is experiencing crippling pain. This man is certainly one of the best.

God bless, thanks, Angela! I really enjoyed doing renovations for all those years, especially yours! We had a lot of obstacles if you remember, but the end result was beautiful! Renovating Eugene's bathroom was a huge challenge for my spinal condition, but I really love doing it at least one more time! Thank you for trusting me in pulling your house apart and turning into something you will enjoy for years to come! I hope you get better soon!!!

Watched the renovation in full and what this taught me is that when it comes time to renovate my bathroom... I need to hire a professional. It can be DIY'd but it's not as easy as it looks.

Thanks for taking the time. Yes, it's labour intensive, and you need a specific skill set. However, anyone with the right intention can learn it! I also must add that it is very rewarding to see an old bad functioning bathroom transformed into new. Cheers!

It was a very fun job! I didn’t think it would be so much work but it is a very good for learning about a lot of stuff. Let’s do another one!

Very informative video Moussa. Well done. I like how you explain the set out detail, a lot of people dont think about this step and it shows in the tiling later on. It was satisfying watching you apply the blue waterproofing material. Looking forward to part 2 and seeing the final product.

You are spot on Joe! I have seen too many people rush a bathroom renovation, and the finished product often looks 3rd rate! Even though this was only a small ensuite, the finish looks great, everything came together beautifully! All I have to do now is finish editing it, and then I will upload it! However, it was 80 hours of filming time from beginning to end, which means it will take a bit of time! 🤪

That is a lot of work , I did a complete rip out including floor , walls glass block window all fixtures added fan and laundry shoot back in 1996 . A lot easier when I was younger . Cheers will watch for final job part two.

You are so right about being easier when you are younger Don, and having spinal issues doesn't make it easy! However, in my younger days, I would complete bathroom renovations every two and a half weeks! I was like a machine! Now it's the reverse, machines keep me going 😆 🤣 😂

Excellent video. One question the vertical flashing that you had in the corners before fixing the villaboard, where can I purchase the flashing from?
@quantumhomeimprovements5 ай бұрын
Thanks Gary, The flashings were already there, which, in fact, were just thin strips of damp course, the kind that brickies use for the walls and windows to reduce moisture. I normally don't use it, but because it was already there, I decided to keep it for extra measure.

That was a very informative video , loved it , the quality of your waterproofing is inspirational. What is your opinion on copper versus plastic piping for the plumbing?
@quantumhomeimprovements9 ай бұрын
Thank Joseph, That is a very good question! Both have their issue good and bad points but I have been using plastic for 20 years and am okay with it! How about yourself?
@IntellectFinance9 ай бұрын
Only once heard there was issue with rodent chewing pipe but otherwise it is much quicker, the quality of copper has reduced anyway.
