Any chance we get updated U8G settings? The most recent update added the “gamezone” features that are on the U8H and above
@kdub68987 ай бұрын
The U8G is by far the best TV Hisense had ever made. Let me explain, when it came out the value to performance blew everything out the water. Also, it’s still holding its value years later compared to newer products!

How doe the U8K vs the U8G? I just got a 75" U8K openbox from best Buy for $650 (it was the most ludicrous buying experience of my 74yr life, what a FUBAR company ) but it is to big so I am going for a 65" should try and find a U8G, U8H or U8K?

The 75 inch panel for the U8N should definitely be better than the U8G. I wish someone would do a comparison on here of the 75 inch version with the IPS-like panel.

Bought a Samsung Q8FN based on your recommendation many years ago. Over the past two yours I have purchased the following TVs in an attempt to upgrade; Sony A80K, LG C2, Samsung QN90B and a Hisense U8K. My Q8FN wiped the floor with all of them overall, all got returned. I'm no longer looking to upgrade and your recent videos only validate my decision. I'm just going to keep using it until something fails. Like you said, it's the king of kings!

Oh wow. I Have 65” U8G. Lol looks like I need to wait. To see if they can fix that thing with firmware update. If not i will have to resort to get U8K 75” instead.

Quantum, trip on this or maybe I'm late to the show you tell me Just by going into menu & clicking picture settings the image will switch to a flat, even without making any changes. Repeat process & image returns to it's former glory. Idk if this is a thing or just characteristics of Hisense panels

Have had a 65U8G since 2021 and its been 9 out of 10. The 2021 price difference was only 150 less even with a 40% discount onj the 2024 model. Thanks for the great review Was looking to buy a 55" and a 65" to set up two more guest bedrooms but im not going to buy these now! Especially when the Nit levels are half for the 55 vs the 65. What a disappointment..Looks like LG is going to get my money now

❤❤YEAH U8G U8H are GEM! 💎 when I had that for a like 4 months. Went to Bestbuy with my dude. HE pointed at SONY X90K , n asking :” IS that IPS??”😂😂😂😂 that’s type of panel --real Future proof lol. I will keep buying Hisense tho. Last year they had U8KL --a model that USA/Canada didnt have. Its like more like U8.5K. I HAVE seen their TRUE Flagship videos/pics on Chinese site. Like INSANE stuff.

Damn I missed the u8g. I had a 75H6510G that just crapped out after 4 years. Do you have a good recommendation for a 75 inch under 1200?
@7marcantoine8 ай бұрын
You need to verify or validate the 65 U8N if its any better as they say. Either way they shouldn't screw you on the 55. But to at least know if the tv is trash across the board. Or they just cheaped out on the 55 only. I was wanting to buy the 65 U8N until your videos came out and now i dont know if the 65 is still a good buy or its trash like yhe 55. Your input on this and your validation would be much appreciated sir.

They HAVE the same issue ever year upon launch. I the U8G launch Image was Significantly Worse. Its actually Broken due to back panel n front panel not timing properly . Like SIGNIFIANTLY worse . H9G U8G, U8H All of them had Launch issues n 1 firmware update a few weeks later fix everything.

@@josephPresto When I First bought Hisense U8G 65” 3 years ago….it had EXACTLY the same issue!!! With Quatum’s early May 55” U8N. It was NOT caused by Hisense. But Tycon company that provided Tycon board. Its a Tool /firmware code got Messed up when they updated firmware that . Miss match the timming from back screen to front Screen. Recently the --Global IT melt down happned over a week ago. By 1 single company called CROUD STRIKE. Since Windows PC n most company pcs use that Crowd Strike , and a LOT BUSINESS work laptops n operations rely on that --Crowd Strike tool. 1 Single update of Crowd STrike mess up millions of Windows PC. Windows keep endless boot n etc just eventually crash . 💥 so ppl think its Microsoft issue, its NOT. Its Crowdstrike Microsoft ONLY pay to use that Tool in their OS. They have NO attitude or access to change anything at the CORE. They can ONLY issue ticket n got o Crowd strike 🪧 request it to be : Fixed/ REversed/ restored. Same with HIsense. Its a Google update issue and it has NOTHIGN to do with Hisense but the Google issue or the Most Likely Tycon issue. That someone didnt test well enough or made human error when update software . This can Happen to ANY TV brand when Tycon did NOT do their job correctly, but the Front facing customer like Hisense or Windows(with Crowd Strike) gets Blamed. Because if I didnt have family in IT< i would not understand whats going on with work laptops. NO one has those Posterization issues any more now. Completely reversed n fixed with New panels.

Wow, maybe you should’ve kept the Q7 TCL from last year to also do comparisons with, from what you said about that when it was pretty phenomenal for what it was, and I’m assuming it beats out their flagship and every way this year, that sucks. I don’t know maybe needs to do some damage control this year, they can’t sell people a broken product in charge more than they used to, not good. 6:00
