HOW I MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it.

Well here it is Guys, the updated amount for the stack in 2024 which was a bit more than I expected. Now I go off current market value of the metals not scrap value. These are obviously worth more to me than current market value, but I just can't help myself and love stacking it up. & I'm very glad the floor is reinforced and has extra thick concrete. Anyway guys sit back relax Enjoy the video and I hope to see all your beautiful people next Friday. I will be putting out the winners names to the giveaway from last week and the week before those names should be up tomorrow. They have already been randomly chosen I will post it on community page as well as Instagram and Facebook👊🏻😁

TIP: I use 1 needle nose and regular pair of pliers to seperate the wire jacket if the striper doesn't cut through all the way the 1st time otherwise you'll have to keep adjusting the tensioner again and again. You can even start with the pliers and than step on the rubber part and pull up that usually works too rather than wearing out the blades by running the wire through 2-4x.

I'm watching this during breakfast time, and the sandwich looks amazing! Great melt as well. Saving the landfills from all of that precious metal.

Wow, in that date was my birthday and I forgot to watch this video and I forgot to ask you to greet me on my birthday. It doesn't matter anymore. Beautiful copper and brass bars and it's good that you finally cleaned the copper ingots from the thousand tons of the goal. Greetings from Argentina 🇦🇷

Crazy how every last bit of it could be converted into just a single tiny bar of gold with the same value.

Heloo great vid as always! Just a esthetic question . Have you ever though about putting something like cords or string on the bars of the little window of the vault ? I think it would greatly improve the whole look of the door !

i just had an idea for a useful tool for your operation. have 2 slotted spools that counter rotate next to each other and when you feed in the insulation on one side and the copper strand on the other itll pull the 2 apart and spool them at the same time and when done you just slide off the spools and load the next wire and keep going. you could maybe incorperate a automated sizer type stripper that can slice and strip in a single operation. i bet you have the means to build such a machine, and im sure there are other improvements that could be implimented to save time and effort.

The coins going into the treasure chest is always very satisfying. Think your door needs a huge padlock with a skeleton key. Maybe even a wood bar barricade thingy too.

Not bad at all, mate! And thoroughly well deserved. You've put in massive amounts of energy and time into that stack, while providing tons of entertainment for us punters out here. I can definitely understand you regard its value far higher than the mere metal prices... It'll be a nice nest egg nevertheless, just in case 😜👍

So i have been wondering why not use a standing wirebrush were you push the copper piece against it instead of the handdrill ... they seem to be able to polish the piece a lot quicker and easier then you current handdrill.

A few questions. 1: why did you put the steel nut or ring in the brass? 2: where do you get your forges, crucibles and molds? I'd love to get into doing this
