Total War : Attila-Multiplayer tactics-Jutes vs Huns (CON) Always count to 20 first!

A Juti army by the rules applied for CON (Attila tournaments) can be a very dangerous weapon in hands of rush players. the Hunnic force here , incapable of countering the melee of the nordic army effectively, had to count on surprises & harassing the front line by bow cavs, however , we were ready for such tactics.
summing up the battle ;
1- the early failure of the surprise factor, ended up fatal for the Huns, as they were the ones trying to reinforce the ambushers !
2- the 3 bow cavs ended dying while causing some damage on our pikes & huscarls, but not exactly enough to justify their existence.
3- the natural superiority of Nordics in melee cavalries & infantries were too much to handle for an army which tried so hard to defend & reinforce a couple of weak ambushers. while the main plans of the Huns looked effective, the execution didnt turn out to be very impressive. Never forget to count to 20 first ! if you are not seeing all the 20 units on the field and in one place, something fishy is going on!

damn I though you gonna loose in a first minute, your lines were in a complete disarray) but seems like enemy was too locked in for micromanaging cav. Although nomads are very annoying and deadly to fight against. I always think you have to pretend to be nomad to defeat nomad

The early harassment is the enemy's obvious plan. how successful will it be , is another question. it is not the only possible tactic in hands of the Huns though. as for defeating the Huns, you can mainly count on their weak melee cavalry and lack of slingers to pose serious ranged damage , their best try is to bring the mounted bow units , but then this simply reduces their budget for investing on other parts.
