Did CA ever give a good reason why switching capital isn't a thing anymore?

Well its role has significantly decreased compared to previous total war games where the location of the capital actually mattered, now its pretty much just a pretty star and is used to calculate trade route paths. Ultimately it doesn't really matter too much since I think the only real major effect besides trade routes is determining where wounded characters spawn. Essentially the capital has such a minor impact that CA probably just doesn't want to go through the effort of making it changeable.

Lernaean Hydra in Atilla some buildings can only be built in the Capital.

and some germanic factions cannot gain victory due to this reason. I had to raze at least 3 times my new capital in my Franks campaign till i got a region capital as my main capital so could build the exact building for victory conditions...

If you put admirals on patrol they don't gain exp but also don't get negative traits and they don't move. It's a perfect thing to do the enemy factions.

This one is even easier than normal rome 2. And armed chariots are the most OP unit i have ever seen in the total war series. Racked up 1,5k kills with them in my first battle. So fucking broken.

I know that cunning spies are hands down the most useful agents in ROME 2, but I'm wondering if Legend has ever fiddled around with a Spy build around authority. A spy build around the Intercept Orders action is incredibly powerful in the hands of a player. You could gain +15 information AN ACTION on a faction, making larger factions generally a breeze to cleave through.

it's a real total war thing an attack from literary the other part of the world to one of your "internal" provinces. Sounds like when in Attila I got an attack by Parthia in Syracuse because I was at war with Sasanyds (as an ally of eastern rome) and they didn't even have a port on the mediterranean sea

Damn its so sad Rome 2 STILL looks like Pre-Alpha. I remember CA's Alpha footage and it looked SO stunning. I grew up with 2 things - Harry Potter books and Rome Total War. And the sequel is just so avarage it hurts my heart. I just wish CA had Rocksteady's dignity and accept that they fuc*ed up.

Actually it look way better than the previous games, Napoleon and Empire look cartoony, Shogun 2 actually look as good as this, this actually like a eagle vision adobe of your settlements, very beautiful contrast of colours specially in the summer, autumn and spring. I care less about graphics, in my opinion a game with ultra-graphics in 4K is a waste of data, good graphics isn't equal to good gameplay.

Hey Legend I'm curious to how do you choose what game and faction to make a series on next. Like do you wake up one morning and say hell I want to play the crapiest faction in Rome 2 or what. Cause if so that would be pretty funny but I'm just curious on your process.

Legend what is your opinion on the power/politics update for the whole game? Does it make the games political system more enjoyable or just more annoying? I feel its a little of both. It seems they tried to expand it a little, and with an Iceni campaign I have been doing its just kinda there. It hasn't been difficult preventing a civil war and I have conquered half the map. Though I just got back into Rome 2 after a long time, because I don't like the newer total wars as much and am still learning the whole game again.

I think internal politic is a shit since ur the empire it was a ok thing when was the republic but an annoying mechanic to deal in the campaign when u have to deal with the other roman factions and barbarians. Thats why I consider attila even better bc is simple and you have to focus in the things that are really important in a total war.

Djordje Djordjevic Infantry performs way better in auto-resolve, in Rome II it's most efficient to use infantry.
