I find it really funny that No-dachi amurai have no bonus vs cavalry when the No-dachi was made, specifically to cut down horses

if there's a mod adding some anti-cavalry bonus, the Shougun will be pleased.

No Daichi should be defeated by Katana samurai because it's difficult to wield long swords in close quarter likr how katana is better in close combat vs spears and naginata. No daichi should also have bonus vs cavalry

Nodachis have longer range and are often swung downwards which is hard or outright impossible for katanas to block. Nodachi can absolutely destroy Yari cavalry because of their poor melee attack and defense skill. But is only defeated by katana cavalry, an anti-sword unit. Also actually the anti-cavalryness of the nodachi comes from their 28 charge is even higher than cavalry. It makes sense because nodachi did anti-calvary work by cutting off the head off the leg or head of the charging horse. Once they are in drawn out melee, the nodachi is in cramped position and the mounted katana samurai is in a position to defend and deflect sword while having a height advantage which is often the reason why mounted swordsmen beat foot soldiers. Keep in mind that most nodachi still needs to be swung downwards which makes it more predictable and the horses are armoured for most part unlike in Shogun 2. And the cavalry often used a cavalry sword which was a long tachi or a nodachi rather than a katana, the shortest of the bunch.

abilities are part of what makes the units, i think not using actives in this testing are the actual imbalance imagine testing yari ash without the wall, every result you'll get will never reflect what the unit actually amounts to
