Headlining is one of those jobs that I've heard so many people say it's horrendous to do but I know you'll take the time to get it perfect! Thanks again for the mention and featuring my little mini!

Total Car Reviews not yet, I don't know what route to go down yet, im very tempted to go with a rear mounted engine rwd conversation, just keeping my eye out for the right one to come along. Even thought about full frame and fibreglass shell for a fast Road / track car.

Hi if you have trouble tensioning the headlining the bars have to grip against the roof. I used sponge which I glued in place it stops the bar moving and you can achieve greater tension

hi there, i’ve seen other videos where people have glued felt down before they put the headlining up. i have put sound deadening up already but was wondering why you haven’t put any felt?
@TomShorrock2 жыл бұрын
the glue is a messy job thats why i refrained from it

Awesome Job once again. My mk1 started after 8 years but when i did the bleed on the rear left drum it was leaking and the bleed nipple didn't lock. it was spinning. Do i need a repair kit or a hole new drum?? . Video on my channel later. Tom keep it up!!!

XyDtE K for the likes of doing things properly I'd recommend replacing both but it depends on your budget, time frame and what state your car is currently in! I will give it a watch later dude! 👌🏻

I've done 3 head-linings, one of the worst jobs on a mini.... god knows how they did them on mass at the factory!
@TomShorrock7 жыл бұрын
Turbo Mini TV any tips you can offer would be great! And I was thinking this myself! It's hardly a 2 minute install as is on cars today 😂
@TurboMiniTV7 жыл бұрын
Yeah I'm afraid I have no tips......... I can only assume they had some sort of stretching jig in the factory. I have asked the question before but nobody knew. Luckily the one in my current project was OK so I left it there. Good luck!!!!!!!!
@TomShorrock7 жыл бұрын
Turbo Mini TV I had no choice haha as the old one was ruined and my car needed a new roof 😔😂

Yet another cracking video, do you edit these yourself...? I also subscribe to DaveJaguar too and also MattGreen16V, he's just started restoring a Mk1. He restored a Jet Black a couple of months ago and got it ready for L2B.... What did you do with the sunroof...? ;) I could even collect it LOL
@TomShorrock7 жыл бұрын
Minifreek I left the sunroof with a mate of mine that did the body work, I've seen matt and dave, dave gave me a shout out the other day. I don't know if matt has come across my Chanel but I've seen his videos... and in the answer to your question "do you edit these yourself" I do indeed mate!👌🏻 all I can say is it takes a lot of time and effort but it's worth it cause it makes it far more interesting to watch in my opinion 😂👌🏻 and further to add! Thanks for the positive feedback it means a lot dude! 👌🏻👌🏻✌🏻

I really need a sunroof for mine :) Keep up the good work fella :)
