@@TotallydubbedHD it's true but if the sound is just slightly better and creates a hassle of dying after few hours then is it really worth it? Wireless headphones are a bigger hassle than wired because they drain phone battery faster and require additional care and attention of charging. Both are a pain to deal with overall, unless you are great at it, then generally I'll take slightly worse sound over inconvenience of having to worry about it and have it die on me mid workout

Great review as usual and only person who noticed the buzzing sound in buds while on call which is the same case with my original tevi so that means it is actually an issue as they have not resolved it in new variant as well and though my oruginal tevi and pureplay z3 has same driver and build still in the pure control app they are not providing ldx mode for my tevi which is very surprising. Apart from that sound wuality is really good for tge price but again there are other bugs like music sometimes break, sometime on same volume level of 75 percent they sound less loyd and sonetimes louder but still for pure balanced sound and clarity they are hard to beat in this price segment.

Thanks for sharing man, glad you also liked the review! One thing I DID forget to mention was Bluetooth range; which isn't that great vs other buds I've tested. Still can walk away by around 8-10m through walls, but other buds manage 10-15m. No issues in terms of connectivity between the buds and my source device when it's close by though.

@@TotallydubbedHD That is true, my one plus buds range is great as compared to tevi, i went for it due to great reviews and still do not regret my decision due to wthe fact that i am not basshead and love the balanced sound and want to hear every detail of music, i have audio technica m50x bt orginal m50 x and sony wh-900n. So yes tevi do lack the oomph and punch in some tracks but i am totally satisfied with soumd but have doubts that any other person may get affected due to the minor bugs which tevi has. BTW i always appriciate your honest opinions for sound and was waiting for your cx400bt review and the comparison with sennhieser momentum 2 as i heard both uses same hardware and lots of youtuber said that they are the best for tws if someone wants best sound quality.

So, I never did a review of the CX500BT, because I was paid by Sennheiser for a sponsored overview - and my rule, be it if viewers or companies care - is that if I receive a product for a paid promotion/overview/setup, is that I will never do a review of it. I'm pretty head strong and wouldn't let even a paid piece influence any of my decisions from the company (I mean you can see a few negative reviews of Sennheiser products on my channel lol), but when it comes to the SAME product, I just feel it's not right to do an unbiased, independent review, after I've been paid for an overview. Hopefully, that makes sense? I will say that, the MTW2 and CX400BT do sound very similar, and in some respects if you don't want the snazzy look or a little wider soundstage or the useless ANC of the MTW2 (lol), then the CX would make for a great choice. However, there are other TWS out there on the market that I have reviewed which to me are preferable.

@@ankey7384 To put it simply i would say they show sound glitches with my one plus 6t phone sometimes and sometimes they work absolutely fine and same goes with the wiered buzz sound while one call, sometimes it do that and sometimes not, however as in review as it is said that they are not meant for calling purpose and that is true if you want to use them primary for calling then look somewhere else and one surprising fact they work flawlessly with my ipad mini 5 without glitches. So put it simply if you want less bassy sound and after greater clarity and balanced sound with great battery life with complete water proofing then they are one of the best choice under 100 usd as there are more and more options coming bowdays like tribit flybuds c1(which has airpods pro like design), edifier tws 1 pro so its all up to you what you want how much you can shell out as lypertek recently launched pureplay z7 which has triple driver setup.

Absolutely not worth it. I'm returning mine. 7 hours per bud, hurt my ears which tevi never does. Not worth it at all.

I had a very bad experience with Lypertek Pureplay Z3. The glued parts are not properly finished. The joint in one of the buds is widening, I really doubt it is a IPX7 rated product. The the sound is good but not as good as hyped. It is brighter to the extend of being little harsh and fatiguing. Lacks refinement. You can hear little glitches while connecting, disconnecting, pausing and playing. The mic is horrible. The buds are bulky and uncomfortable for long listening. The company has serious quality control issues and no customer support. They are surely not worth the price, I regret buying this. Sould have gone for time tested brands.
