I'm pretty sure Satisfactory isn't going to get many updates after 1.0 because most of the features people want and have been requesting would probably not be easily implemented in with their spaghetti code

I can totally picture Satisfactory being supported for years to come with comparable love and attention to how Terraria is by its Devs. :) (I can even imagine Satisfactory Devs years down the road 'pulling a Terraria' and trying to give up on working on the game anymore then being unable to do it even if it's killing them and still coming crawling back to it to keep love and caring it some moar!)

I'm gonna be honest. I expected 1.0 to just be the final polish of the existing game and a little bit of story on top and thats it. But it seems like we're getting a lot of new stuff, so much in fact that we might even get a completely new space elevator phase. I am now very hyped for the final release! And to think that I only had to pay for this game once and got years worth of updates since then for free brings me joy. Also thank you for the analysis. There was a lot I missed even after rewatching the Teaser several times.

Alright I got a few things to mention: 1: 11:54 CHAIN LINK FENNNNCE YESSS I’ve been waiting for this (don’t judge me) 2: 14:44 I think they’re adding the ability to automatically vault over belts (and maybe pipes & hypertubes) while sprinting! Very fun and convenient! 3: 16:38 Gold paint makes me wonder if we’re getting other metallic Customizer options, like Silver color, or if we’ll get a “metallic-ness” slider in the color menu we can use to make our own shiny colors…. Anyway, super hyped to see the new stuff and the release date! Thanks for covering this trailer too, I would never have noticed half of the stuff you pointed out by myself! Only two more months to wait now! Very excited!

The orange diamond label is for hazardous materials. It could be for flammable but also for corrosive or other types of dangerous materials. I used to be a Lorrie driver (trucker for the rest of the world) and I also did ADR (dangerous materials) trips. But back to Satisfactory - If toilets are becoming a thing do we also get food (Farming) added to the game?????

I had no idea there was this kind of community for satisfactory… i bought the game when it came out and played quite a bit, but then i stopped and kinda forgot about it. Then recently just a few days ago, one of my friends asked if i wanted to play this game Satisfactory, and i remembered immediately that i already had that game somewhere but i actually forgot which launch platform i had it on (quickly found out it was epic games) and i downloaded it again. Now i’m addicted… i’ve been missing out man…

The blue spial looks a bit like one end of a pair of portals in Portal. So it could be hinting at telportation. (We've had the Superposition Oscillator hinting at that for a whle.) It would be funny if the "toilet" turned into a teleportation chamber and it made a flushing sound when you use it.

The constructors are making new canisters using the 'plasteel' ingots, the canisters are being filled by the packagers with the pink gas, which is being mined by the concealed machine, and consumed by the new machine. Screws are being used into late game, as this is a late tier factory, but also cut back in use as being symbolized by the pioneer's slide under the conveyor belt. The leap over the revealed space elevator part is one of the final hurdles to the end.

If you're looking for ideas for videos for the interim, I have a suggestion. I've been feeling a bit of the Satisfactory bug lately, but knowing 1.0 is coming, I didn't want to fully jump back in, not wishing to burn myself out prematurely. Instead, I have been working on a few blueprints that I think will be helpful once it goes live. I wouldn't say no to a video going over what blueprints you'd recommend for that, and along with that, any known recipe changes that might affect those blueprints. What do you think?

about the red barrel-ish thing i think it is probably an alternative for the coal generators, like turning coal into something more efficient that works in the same machine

For the red cylinder thing at the packager and near the hub, I'm thinking bottled Hydrogen! As a gas, packaging makes sense. In real life the standardized color for hydrogen bottles IS red, and it has lots of industrial uses apart from being fuel, can probably be produced from water at very high energy cost AND more cheaply as a byproduct from some processes, burnerd/sunk in fuel generators, only resulting in a net gain of energy if its a byproduct, it might REPLACE water in the diluted fuel recipes which would make a lot more sense for realism, makes sense to go into a particle accelerator (hydrogen = proton + electron) and many more things. The more I think about it, the more sense it would make to add it.

That O at the end really brings Apature Science and Portal to mind for me. And in my mind, some kind of portal buildable like a mini stargate where both sender and receiver needs to be powered would be really cool, and fit the vibe of the game better than straight teleportation.

I can see the spiralling O in the Toilet Flush logo to be a spiral galaxy. Story speculation is that part of us Pioneers is that we were sent out into space to harvest resources. Either for interstellar travel or intra-galaxy travel and we are beeing seeded across the galaxy to harvest resources and build components needed.

The diamond with the flames thing you mentioned is in real life only used in ADR (transportation of dangerous loads). However the canister does remind me a lot of dangerous liquids, like liquid nitrogen specifically or some modern looking gas canister.

I wouldn't be surprised if the process you mentioned is included but it feels like perhaps the resource will be something more basic like simply fluorine that could then be included as an input in a lot of different recipes given how common fluorine is as a constituent of industrially significant compounds.

I have been waiting for tier 9 and 10 since many updates ago. My theory is it will include SAM ore, quantum computers, Mk.6 logistics (teleportation of items maybe?) to deal with fully overclocked miner Mk.3, plus a new form of power source. From the new trailer showing what looks to be a new project part, I'm fairly optimistic 😛

I think the pink fluid it's liquid helium because it's actually used for cooling real quantum computers and usually helium is associated with the pink color And also it's used for cooling particle accelerators, so the particle accelerators may consume it

That would not make much sense, coal contains elemntal Carbon and when you burn it you essentially combine it with (atmospheric) Oxygen. Capturing it and breaking it down to C an O2 again wouldn`t be too effective, separating Oxygen from the atomsphere and extracting Carbon from coal is more energy efficient. Ficsit Inc. thrives to be efficient. You are fired!

If there is something to do with cooling, the pink could be hydrogen. Hydrogen is frequently shown in pink in games like oxygen not included.

I've been waiting for new content for such a long time. Absolutely loved the game and come back occasionally, but ready for map adjustments to stop and more tiers for a longer game. Kind of worried there might not be enough in 1.0. They focused on map and quality of life improvements for such a long time that I'm hoping the game length doubles with 1.0, but know I'm probably hoping too much.

Those canister items running alongside the goal gens might be packaged liquid nitrogen (or oxygen/helium?)-judging by the handles on the canister and its fat cylindrical shape, it looks like those insulated containers used to carry cryogenic materials IRL (often seen in liquid nitrogen KZbin videos) Are they used to “cool” the coal gens and increase their efficiency perhaps?

I think the spiral in the end logo is more to do with a black hole / galaxy spiral type of thing. I mean, we are technically space faring. So maybe there will be something more ado with the space aspect.

Those orange warning labels on the new unknown can/bottle with grips resemble the earlier international hazard pictogram labels for chemicals used before the current ones (now: tilted square with red border, white background and black symbol). Labels with orange background featured all kinds of hazards as black pictograms - not only inflammable, but also toxic, caustic, irritant, explosive, etc. So until we know more about the cans or have higher resolution images of the labels we can't be sure about them.

Im going to theorize that the rods leading up to the coal gen are compacted coal. One of the things that has bugged me is that coal and compacted coal look so similar. I believe its a compacted coal rod.

The Barrels coming out of the Coal power plant, if it is at all related to the Coal Power (and not just a belt happening to run behind it) then maybe it's carbon di/monooxide caught up in the process and we dispose of it as a way to be more environmentaly friendly?

I think the canister is hydrogen. Could also be pink hydrogen in the pipe. And I think it goes in a pipe into the particle accelerator to make deuterium (makes sense). Alternatively, I could only see nitrogen in the particle accelerator. What you call plasteel is SAM ingots (probably?)

My guess: green fluid is low temperature coolant, and purple is high temperature coolant which needs to be cooled down. Or pink is hydrogen (emission color), and can be packed which gives the flammable signed canister. In this case green can be, maybe ammonia (green emission).

The gas tanks could be butane or propane (likely propane) since propane is usually color coded with red in a lot of places. Would be cool if that was the case. Unless they added some other gases that require refining.

This break down awoken desire to play Satisfactory again after more than a year… but I still need to move my fuel power plant from old northers coast that got rewamped. Also ongoing project for nuclear is on forced hold for change of recipes… at least I could take a look at coming node changes.

Great, I wanted to finish the game at least one time before 1.0 hits. Now I'm on the clock :) I really look forward to the changes and the potential storyline to uncover. I dont want to plan anything, I dont want myself to get spoiled in any way - Just boot up the game, pick a starting position at random and go.

The flammable gas canisters make me think it could be something like hydrogen or methane. If the canisters were being fed into a coal power generator as an alternate fuel recipe, it maybe could be methane. Edit: Also it would be cool if the caterium looking pipes could also transfer electricity, kinda like rails do. IIRC some old minecraft mods did that with fluids/power/items and redstone signal.

Here's my thoughts on all the unconfirmed stuff here: That new packaged liquid resource looks to me like a flammable gas container. My assumption for what it could be is propane. Propane is an absolute classic for a flammable gas, and it's a byproduct of some oil refining processes. The only reason I have any doubt in my mind is how the container looks. I personally would have designed the containers to look more like the propane canisters that you hook your grill or whatever up to, but this is a sci-fi setting and those containers do look pretty futuristic. My guess about that golden pipe is that it might be some sort of special shielded pipe, for transporting special substances. It could either be heat or corrosion shielded, but I'm not sure about that because there's more than one glowing substance seen in a regular pipeline (which may be glowing because of extreme heat) and multiple acids already exist in the game and they are put in normal pipelines. This is subject to change though. Maybe normal pipelines will no longer be able to carry acids in 1.0. For the new ingots, I'm pretty sure they're not a copper ingot reskin. Sure, changing the shape of the ingot might be a good idea to help people distinguish between the ingot types, but I highly doubt this new ingot is indeed copper. The current copper ingot looks metallic and shiny. This new item doesn't. Actually, what if it's not a metal at all? Looks can be deceiving. It could be a new metal alloy, like plasteel. It would be nice for the foundry to have more uses. It also could possibly be an oil product, but I'm not so sure about that. I do think those turbofuel-looking items are indeed turbofuel. It's a bit strange that it's being routed straight past the space elevator though. Those items going into the new production building are absolutely not cooling systems. They're not the right shape and height. I think those are regular computers. That new miner is probably a reworked miner MK3. I you look really closely there seems to be a second belt of ore coming out of the miner below the more visible one. I'm guessing this was Coffee Stain's solution to the miner MK3 not being able to effectively output all the ore it can produce. Instead of adding the MK6 conveyor belt, they have given the miner two separate outputs. That building next to it might actually be part of the miner, but there's not really a good way to tell. I have no idea what that new space elevator part could be. Maybe it's some sort of teleporter, but beyond that there's not really any way to tell. Something I'd like to point out is that the superposition oscillator has yet to appear. Three new parts have been teased during the Fics*mas event in the past. The fused modular frame is now available to be produced in-game. The quantum computer makes an appearance in this video. Where's the superposition oscillator? We still haven't seen it in action anywhere. I really don't know what either of those new glowing liquids could be.

My thoughts exactly on the plasteel like Item, it could be an alloy but it doesn't look metalic. As for the gas container, I think it could well be propane with it being a bi-product from some oil refining, that's kinda exciting. I thought they were computers at first but why add them to Quantum computers? and what other computer would they produce? We already have Super Computers - Although, they've removed them from Geo-thermal generators, perhaps this is because they've moved them to a higher tier and looking at the conveyor leaving the building they could be super computers. hmmmm I might have to look into this more.

So the middle circular could be a particle collider with lasers that need cooling? The Dev said in an earlier Q&A “LASERS”….. maybe something to do with those… just a guess

I think the gas being packaged and the green pipe could be some kind of natural gas like methane? Different gasses burn different colors and they look like propane tanks to me.

We have chillwater plants where I work, and the glycol solution used in the system is pink.

That pink color...gas emission spectrum color maybe? Depending on conditions, hydrogen, helium, CO2, Water Vapor, Nitrogen can be pinkish.
