I live in the Richmond area. It is common for people t pronounce Henrico the way you did. However, it’s pronounced “‘Hen-rye-ko.’”. I wanted to common because this one always makes the list of most common mispronounced places in VA. As for the story, Henrico is one of the best hospitals around. This is truly heartbreaking. I’m so glad the eventually found out about this and I hope the babies are on the mend. We need more oversight for sure.
