Fitting a Chrome instrument ring kit to a Jaguar XK8 XKR ( Adamesh rings )

In this episode, I install a 6 ring set of chrome instrument bezels onto my 1996 xk8 Cabrio sport 'Purdey'.
This is a really simple mod that anyone should be able to take on and achieve a good clean result. Also on a dark dashboard, these rings are really quite transformative whilst being fine enough to look like they were there from the factory.
You can buy 3 ring sets or 7 ring sets that include a ring for the trip computer controls. You can also buy these in Chrome or in Polished Aluminium (which will save you quite a lot of money)
I went for the Adamesh Chrome 6 ring set and was very impressed with the quality of finish and the final effect.
