GC7677, Thanks for providing this entertaining contest from White Hart Lane. I thought Linighan did well at the back for Norwich considering he was up against Lineker and Walsh. Also a bonus with further league and cup goals on your tape-thanks as always for sharing these with us!

Spurs Supporters have always been crap and silent - and I say that as a true Spurs fan from Somerset who has gone to see them at WHL and Wembley. That is when they even turned up - 28,000 fan in the mid to late 80s was pathetic support for the great players we had. Hardly heard a word out of them last night in Madrid during the 2019 Champions League Final - Pochettino must go though - you don't leave a match winner v Ajax like Moura on the bench for final unless on at Half Time at the latest.

The noise at the Wembley and the new stadium has been pretty poor. But to say that Spurs supporters have always been crap and silent at White Hart Lane is utter garbage. You obviously didn't go to many matches at White Hart Lane during the the 2000s. When Spurs beat Inter Milan in the champions league it was one of the best atmospheres I have ever experienced. When spurs beat Chelsea 2-1 in 2006 and Aaron Lennon got the winner it was an amazing atmosphere, the party went on well after the match had finished. From the mid 80s to the early 90s football attendances were generally very poor at a lot of clubs, it was a sign of the times. Your comment is a very broad and sweeping statement which doesn't take into account changes during different times

@@Scott1433 You're talking out your arse mate, I've seen enough Spurs matches myself to know that they go quiet for very long periods of matches.

@@thelstanedwardsson4374 actually no. Been a season ticket holder since 1997. I have experienced some amazing atmospheres over the years. I never said they were never quiet did I? So you can poke that remark up your arse

@@Scott1433 The crowds go extremely quiet when losing you utter twunt.. Many clubs, like Everton, West Ham, Millwall and also I hate to admit it, Woolwich, are noisy and try to wind the opponents crowd up EVEN WHEN THEY ARE 3-0 DOWN FFS!! Spurs fans get all humbled and stfu when they're losing. I don't give a shit if you have had a season ticket holder since 1897, this is fact!! I may not be a season ticket holder but I watched enough matches between 1991 and 2019 to have witnessed this!! Plus, on TV matches during the 80s before I watched my first match live at WHL in 1991 - you could even see the fans going mute when losing so stfu you little prick.

@@thelstanedwardsson4374 you are a delightful person. I bet your parents are really proud. We do have one thing in common though we both don't care what the other thinks. Have a wonderful day
