was at this game, memorable for all the wrong reasons in the end. over the 2 legs we definitely deserved To play man u in final. watching the last couple of minutes of extra time kills me. but having said that we went up go the prem and it was the start of where we are today! every game is ecstasy watching the boys. This still hurts to this day. Away goals should have either been after 90 mins or not at all. It was grossly unfair. The atmosphere that night in the turf was incredible.

Was there that night. Saw Rodriguez's go in and everyone saw it coming. Wembley. Knocked out by two cruel goals in the last minutes. Heartbroken. What a game. Deserved promotion after that comeback.

Its still one of the most memorable game's of football iv ever seen, we spanked most of the London clubs getting there and it had everything massive up's and a shitty end (fucking Jamie O'hara substitution.. changed everything) still had our day at Wembley though .. up the clarets !

Im a pompey fan and I was so upset when burnley were cruely denied a wembley opportunity and to play probably the best team in the world at that point, after dominating that game I remember supoorting burnley throughout the entire carling cup. AT LEAST YOU WON THE PLAY OFFS SO YOU GOT YOUR WEMBLEY DAY AND GOT TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE!! :P

Even without being biased, I still believe that if a team is winning on away goals after 90 minutes, that should be the end of it. Why should we get 90 minutes to score an away goal, and they get 120? Great vid, even though my heart dropped into my stomach, again.

Also to all the Coyle haters, Yes I was unhappy to see him leave, but I don't dislike him for it, It's a job at the end of the day and he had to look at the bigger picture and he saw a opening at Bolton and took it, and if you look at where both teams are now, you'd have to say he made the right decision. Would we have stayed up if he stayed with us? maybe, maybe not. but facts speak for themself, Bolton are in the Prem and we aren't. So stop hating! be glad of what he did for us...
