Thank you for great video. Couple of my friends serve as pilots, they are humble people and they don't think they do something extraordinary. So I'm pretty sure the man or lady who managed that plane to land would say "Yeah, it was tough, but we just did what we were trained to do". I am not big fan of flying, but videos like that make me calm, cause I know the plains are in the well trained hands. Much of respect for the crews, ground people also engineers who work hard to make our travels safe and comfortable.

@@MsGrandunion Filton is on the North side of Bristol, in South Gloucestershire, and never carried commercial flights, despite a number of attempts to convert to a commercial airport. @MsGrandunion2 жыл бұрын
@@misterflibble9799 I am rather proud of the fact that I was present at the first Concorde takeoff from Filton, (I think it was 1969?), and then back again decades later for the final landing. And I loved that she did that loop over northern France instead of the direct route from Heathrow to Filton. I recall that there was a race going on that day, a convoy of cars and motorbikes left Heathrow as she took off, and floored it down the M4 in a bid to arrive at Filton before her!! Pretty sure the motorbikes managed it, but only because they shot through a hedge at the airport perimeter!
