Hi Steve. Again thanks for the great video. I have had one of the SKMEI variants for over 4 months now. No scratches on the lens and no defects with the watch what so ever. They are also available on ebay. I paid 16 pounds for mine. There is nothing else with as many features ap this watch available at this price range. The nearest is the claw gear tactical watch which I also have and cost over 80 pounds and is far far inferior to these Chinese watches. The next closest set of watches up in price are casios and garmins costing many hundreds. Just wanted to confirm what you have said in this video. These watches are excellent value for money!

I do like the features of the first watch (I have the SKMEI copy), though the LCD is a too faint and some of the icons (like the weather) are near impossible to see, so silly design there). But good value for money. I find the features are roughly accurate, the barometer is near the official reading and the compass unfortunately is too sensitive to nearby electronics. It would be a good entry to someone wondering if they would enjoy wearing such a watch.

The carbine looks just like the Sunto Core have you compared the differences between them?

Hi No I haven't. I have since found much better watches made by SKMEI in China. These are exceptional in their design. If you have a look at the range of them on Banggood you will find watches that look similar to G-Shock. I have several and I think they are much better as they have the larger batteries CR2032 type which are easy to get and change yourself. Also water resistant to 50m. Regards Steve

Except for swimming, those watches could withstand outdoor activities, oh and I already had the SKMEI 1358 for about 1 year and it's really worth for the price

Well they just waterproof them to 5ATM anyway, for those that do want to go swimming using them.
