Raise tougher kids by being tougher parents.

You’re not helping anyone by dropping everything to cater to feelings when it’s costing you what you know you should be building.

Think it's ok to be there for them. But also take care of responsibility. I work 7 days a week for 5 months and my kids understand fathers gotta do what he got to do. At the same time I am there for them for your their journey re tournaments, music recitals. With the lack of community nowadays it is good to be around as good mentors and teaching them good values Attributes / values, like caring, strength, mannerism, altruism, and the many that society will not teach them as it is very crooked. Also society is very individualistic today so need to teach them to care about people around them. Life about collectivism and individualism so need to balance as just being attached individualism creates a very selfish community / city / nation.

What's with all the 'hater' talk recently? Sounds like you're trying to give yourself advice, Trevor. The term 'hater' tends to be thrown around far too often. Anytime someone hears something they don't agree with they start calling it hate. People don't have to agree with you. It would be a boring world if everyone thought the same way. Most peoples fears stem from within themselves and have little to do with others. Blaming 'others' for your inaction is an excuse and paying attention to so called 'haters' makes you weak.
