3 miss run, I just felt like playing PCB for some reason... which is strange considering this might actually be my least played maingame. Only 1 hour of practice was done prior to this run.
3rd LNB of this game overall, my prior PB was from 2 years ago which was a ReimuA 6MNBNBB 69fps run. I have no plans on going for an LNNN run.
MarisaB is probably the worst shot alongside SakuyaA, but it's not bad enough for me to make a dedicated Awful Shot Showcase video for PCB (UFO MarisaB LNBNV ASS video is still on the table btw, I just need to actually care enough to open the game).

Literally just spam and smallbox, the former is huge for LNNN. For LNB thought, the differences between the worse 3 are pretty close, so it's really up to who you ask, these 3 shots still aren't bad though.

@@yeashie It's funny because my comfort shot is Sakuya B to the point it's one of two shots I've cleared on Lunatic (while hard is my difficulty of comfort) and it's specifically because you can make the shots narrow and damaging meanwhile Reimu A just takes... too long to do anything for me. And the longer I'm enduring a lunatic attack, the more likely I am to mess up. Just funny how different players have different opinions on this sorta thing. Reimu hitbox IS amazing, tho, but of the PCB Reimus I prefer B as I tend towards narrow/damaging over homing.

I don't blame you for liking SakuyaB, she's GOATed overall. I think the community consensus is that she's the best for LNNN because of her great damage, range, and having the 2nd best spam performance.

​​​@@yeashie Just to be clear, I don't want to come off as claiming that you're wrong, we all have our own opinions. But I'm curious as to what about Sakuya-A is bad enough to put her in the bottom tier? I personally found her to be borderline broken outside of the Prismriver sisters' boss fight. The fact that she basically aims for the player is nuts IMO, her homing is basically as good as Reimu's in a large amount of scenarios. Her bombs honestly didn't seem that notable to me, they were just a screen clear and a high damage attack. I admittedly play on Easy/Normal difficulties though, is Hard/Lunatic different when it comes to character balance?

LNB/LNN viability =/= 1cc viability in terms of shot types. SakuyaA simply doesn't deal enough damage compared to the other shots which is a big problem, her s6 spam and HGS performance isn't the best either surprisingly. There is a good reason why she gets the 2nd lowest amount of TWCpoints in the World Cup.

@@yeashie Thank you for the explanation. I've only ever gotten no-miss playthroughs in one game (Imperishable Night) and didn't really think about how 1ccs in general use a different set of strategies than a LNB/LNM run (neither of which I'm close to being able to perform yet, lol).

I'd also say some strategies between LNB and LNM are different as well, I'd actually vouch for SakuyaA in LNM solely because of the extra bombs lol. Another good example is Reisen in LoLK where she isn't too good for LNB, but dominates in LNM/standard 1cc play thanks to her bomb.
