Fun fact: One of the many things Hecate was worshipped as in ancient Greece was as a goddess of boundaries, as such we can imagine that Hecatia would also be able to manipulate boundaries like Yukari, but on a far more divine level of power. Also interestingly, Lafcadio Hearn was born in Greece, meaning that Maribel (and Yukari) may also be Greek themselves. Kinda funny how well those coincidences align.

Still can't defeat her, CoLA says it's not possible for a human and Youkai to defeat Yukari, only certain gods can defeat her. The reason why moon sisters could defeat her is because she can harness the powers of multiple gods(Earth gods are weaker than celestial gods), yes Reimu can harness the power of gods however that only counts certain gods.

@@ShadowBlade9159 Practically every Touhou girl can fly, but Reimu's Fantasy Nature lets her 'float' outside of reality itself and become completely untouchable while she can still attack her surroundings. It triggers on its own and she's not exactly conscious when it happens; think of it like spacing out or daydreaming but taken to the extreme - an auto pilot sort of thing. This is how Fantasy Nature essentially works at its highest level, but there's varying degrees of it. Usually it just translates to Reimu having incredible luck and serenely 'floating' through the challenges of life without having to try very hard, something that ties to one of her titles being the 'Easy-going Shrine Maiden'. However this technique usually won't work when Reimu is acting with malicious intent or indulging vices such as greed or else, like how her ploys to make more money in WaHH always end in comical failures. But if it's to save Gensokyo or the Earth, she basically won't ever lose. This really is protagonist plot armor incarnate.

I meant that I saw somewhere, that in list of Reimu's abilities have power named "Fly" and that's exactly same what you name "Fantasy Nature". I guess different source, different name. Like Remilia's spell card, when she turn into many bats and becomes immune to bombs, somewhere named Swarm sign: "Bats", somewhere - Bloodline sign: "Swarm of Bats" and etc. Same spell card have like 10 different names from different sources.

To be fair, we already knew that Yukari wasn’t the strongest Touhou character known to us before Hecatia’s debut ever since the introduction of the Watatsuki Sisters back then, who are Lunarians capable of overpowering Yukari and other residents of Gensokyo. Not to mention Eiki Shiki, a yama whose judgment is absolute and cannot be reversed. Hecatia is a special case because not only can she overpower gensokyo residents but also the Lunarians as well as having authority over a being like Eiki thanks to her higher position as Goddess of Hell. Then the whole having three bodies that allow her to be present in three realms simultaneously (Earth, Moon, Otherworld) while her core self resides in Hell. Either way, I love both Yukari and Hecatia. They are both top favorites for me, alongside a few others like Flandre, Koishi, and Clownpiece for example.

Lunarians are broken, but they also have a stupid easy counter, pollute the moon(Like Junko was doing) or fight them somewhere that’s not the moon(or wherever Yuyuko lives), making them trivial. And we don’t really know if anyone is as strong as the sisters, their whole jobs require them to be stupid strong, it wouldn’t be shocking if the other lunarians were considerably weaker. Eiki’s supreme authority resides in that one area, death. Outside of that, people just fear her because of the lectures and because in the end, they’ll probably have to deal with her in her territory. It’s like saying a chess grandmaster is strong simply because in chess he’ll destroy you. That one area he’ll always win, that’s it, he can, and will lose elsewhere. Hectai is just powerful, but yukari while powerful, still has her brains.
