I just picked up the exact same boat. It needs a lot of work, but I’m ready to go. my stern cabin is a little different. Just has one full size bed on the Starbucks side. Looking forward to seeing more videos. I’ll be starting a KZbin channel myself. Just because there’s not enough information out there on how to repair these boats. Have a great journey on it. ✌️

Thank you for the tour Sandra!! I’m anxious to see what you do with the kitchen reno and would love it if you showed your plans in a future video. For the bed, how will you relocate the stairs? I’m assuming you’d do them sideways or there won’t be space? I’m also anxious to see the battery set up and learn how the solar panels are working for you. Do they provide enough power or have you have to use hardwire while in port? I can’t wait to see the projects you have planned for this year!

Right now the galley reno is a sketch on a piece of paper! We are currently filming our progress though. We really aren't sure about the bed...it's a conundrum. Last year we thought we would move the fresh water tanks to the middle (under a bed) but then we thought that might not be a good idea since they are near the hull on each side...and may contribute to how the boat sits in the water. We thought we'd do away with a few stairs and just use the bed as one. Realistically we don't use the stairs out the back a lot because there isn't a ton of head room in that hatch...even taking food out that way to the BBQ is bit of a hassle. It's nice to ensure a breeze through the cabin, though, and for some "sky" on a summers night...love the star viewing from the cabin! It's an important egress as well, if needed. We are working on the battery/electrical episodes in tandem with the current reno shooting. Despite Chris retiring about 3 weeks ago, he is busier than ever it seems! And the electrical episode really needs his technical expertise. In terms of our solar capacity last year, the three panels we have (about 550W) seemed to provide us enough power to do what we want, all summer long, no shore power necessary...as long as we had mostly sunny days. If we had three or four cloudier days in a row, we definitely saw the batteries drop significantly. We think, becasue we have space for three more panels, that we may add those and then we'd be set. Chris is going to put in heat (diesel probably) and AC (electric) with an eye to the AC ONLY being used on very warm nights for a few hours, so we can sleep. He figures this is possible with our 13 KW battery, even if we are at anchor. And only when the forecast for the next day is for sun. We aren't too worried about having AC here in Canada, but if we ever take the boat south, this will be a bigger issue. I have a very short range of comfort. Heat especially affects me. The heater will allow us to continue to live on the boat for another month or more in Canada in the fall...and possibly on some colder nights if we ever head south. Thatnks for watching Sharon!

I trust you're still boat happy ? Beaut little ship mate. I hope you've replaced your very unseaworthy foot ware. Mate please keep non slip stuff only on your boat. It makes me sweat the thought of a serious injury at sea. My background is in the mountains and out of reach if help. I read a grest book about "medical emergencies at sea". It got me into medicine years ago now I'm returning to the sea. Blessings from Australia mate. Get good dive boots or canyoning footware is first rate and you can swim with them on plus their good on urchins etc.

What do you mean? Each tour episode, or all episodes? I've thought about including a number for all episodes, but I thought maybe the date it was released would give enough reference.
