So beautiful. The images are so crisp. It's just like being there, except better...my glasses don't fog with sea mist; I don't have to deal with all that sand getting in my shoes, or with the sun trying to bake me, and if I want a snack, the kitchen is just around the corner. Thanks!

Yeah, that's the thing about travel, it's like going to the moon. You look around, you see the beauty, but you know you can't stay. That's why I live with my with my eyes lifted to the sky...the sky is always there...it will never leave you..and it's always beautiful... Stay safe in your journeys. Me, I don't journey. I have found that it's not the places you go, but the people you meet that matters...still...it is beautiful...thanks!

Brilliant footage of a marvellous place. Have you considered accompanying musically by didgeridoo and flute, harp . . guttural and real like our Country,the harmony of didj with other instruments is surreal, for our ears to meet with our eyes in our heart
@IntotheWildFilms10 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. Music is always the most difficult part of putting these videos together. Its about getting the right feel, and emotional undertone. I have a few didj tracks which i will trail against future productions.
@loislanelol439510 жыл бұрын
Awesome ! and we have some fabulous didj player here at the Gallery - that's how I know how goosebumpy it is when the didj plays down here by the water, and also with the flute. Willy played the Last Post on the didj with the bugle player last Anzac Day was incredibly moving. He has played over there a few times - would be easy to introduce you, Rowena

Hi, just got convinced by this amazing film to go to KI. Nice work! I just have one question. How close can you get to the wildlife? Which lenses did you use? Is the 24-105 enough for wildlife shots? Thanks! :)
@IntotheWildFilms8 жыл бұрын
+Alan Wong hi Alan, you can get very close to the wildlife if you move slowly, there is wildlife everywhere on KI many shots I haven't included in my film. I think I used the 24 to 105 for most of my shots. I also have a 50 mm prime which I sometimes use if I can get close enough.

Sensational indeed ! But where are the Kangaroos mate ? I thought this Island are full of jumping Kangaroos...
@IntotheWildFilms9 жыл бұрын
***** Ha ha, you know I've been waiting more and a year for this question "where are the Kangaroos?" Yep you are right, the island is full of them and I did get a couple of shots, for some reason the clips I got just never fitted the flow of the editing so they never made the final cut. There are plenty of other YT vids on KI that feature Kangaroos though. Thanks for taking the time to comment and finally hitting me with the question I have been waiting for. All the best to you mate.

@IntotheWildFilms3 жыл бұрын

That's not true on both counts. KI has its own sub-species of Kangaroo that evolved from the Western Grey. The KI Kangaroos are noticeably different from western Grey's, check out the link above for some footage at the end of that video.
