I love Greece, it was our family summer holiday destination as a kid, I worked a couple of summers there and always wanted to live there. 🇬🇷 💙 I moved from the UK to Australia 18 years ago and have only made it back to greece once in that time. Just happened upon your channel in my feed. So exciting to see inside a home on a Greek Island. Part of my ancestry is from a tiny island called Psara, as well as Athens, but I do not speak any Greek and am yet to visit. My grandfather's family were amongst the very first Greeks to migrate to Australia. You have a lovely home and your husband is clearly an amazing cabinet maker and joiner. Thanks for the tour!

Yes, I do feel very safe on the island, but leaving the key in the door is no difference from being in your house or your garden in the U.S. and the door being unlocked. When we leave the house, or go to sleep, the house is locked the keys on the inside. Maybe easier to understand if you just think of a key as the door knob.😊 Thanks for your comment.
