Great and informative walkthrough. How is the transport from the airport? Will you be doing other resorts near by? Off resort, safety, entertainment and excursions?

It was an easy 40 minutes. Next week is a review of the Westin Playa Bonita. We stayed at the resort since it had sloths and we've already been to the Panama Canal.

I am so confused after researching inclusive resorts. Does a regular room (not preferred) entitle you to eat free at the restaurants minus the preferred club or is a regular room simply not all inclusive. I am so discouraged from booking a vacation like this

You should contact a travel agent. They can help you sort this all out. If a resort is all inclusive, that means all your meals and drinks are included for all the rooms

A regular room can be ALL INCLUSIVE just make sure you book it that way if there are options. The prefered just gives you a little elevated experience as far as better rooms, a private lounge with premium alcohol.. Private areas you can go to and the private prefered pool. I have done both and while the Prefered is nice, i'm not sure it was worth the extra money at the other dreams we stayed at. At this resort the Prefered Pool would be a nice upgrade.
