Ah, is Tadej going to apologise to Dylan van Baarle for what he said to him at the finish ?
@ryanphelan68612 жыл бұрын
Forcing a Roubaix winner to ride ahead allowing himself sliding room to drop on climbs to a 23 year old GT winner and someone over 10 kilos lighter on DVB's specialty not sure he was feeling brash after race. For someone so highly doubted coming in by press or locals because these races are so different was almost first debutant to win. He already did apologize he know he stuffed it but DVB is full of it too that he kept his line he came on Tadejs left and ended up on barriers he had to come across. They reviewed it after race Tadej GT and monument rider of many less kilos as dropped him on every climb I don't think DVB was doing anything but closing a door to fellow countrymen in VDP , despite where he was born and technically lives being Belgium, VDP had it in bag that was unnecessary and he rode straight to tadej after race to see his reaction because he knew it was borderline otherwise he goes to MVDP first to congratulate winner. Sprint was Mathieu's Tadej stuffed race letting pace go and pressure off in final k's VDP was even eating. Tadej has some pretty important GC races im sure he didn't see it necessary to have DVB come across his front wheel with all that room on the left if tadej doesn't break they make contact after all that racing to have dangerous moment in select sprint off the cobbles in finale is silly again DVB knew it. Could have been left collarbone no Tour that was the response shotgun response you got. Along with the fans getting him excited, him being strongest in race and on all climbs, and not finding a way to lose VDP was so bitter pill for him he doesn't care about podiums like others thats for sure, him being 23 and very ambitious he wants to win losing to VDP or even missing podium wasn't getting that response. Tadej has only himself to blame for loss he needed to sprint from speed he doesn't have anywhere near VDP's raw power the more pace taken out of race less chance he had.... lesson learned im sure. I miss the big heavyweights of Fabian , Boonen, Museeuw, those guys just grabbed race by scruff of the neck and rode with such power and panache. Thought Wout had the shape this year to get those type results an E3, Flanders, Roubaix triple type season he was so sharp. Shame he got sick. Looks like DVB will be his teammate next year. Its getting silly their depth like the mapei's QS that 1-2-3 roubaix etc.

@@ryanphelan6861 Weird comment, makes no sense, reads like a conspiracy theory
@ryanphelan68612 жыл бұрын
@@epincion no conspiracy everyone watched race its nuanced is all. Truths always somewhere in between no conspiracy racing and learning for young man brilliant race by all 4:Dvb deserves tons of credit for that move to get up road allow cushion to ride his own pace it got him podium and win Roubaix. Two best in race were up front tadej couldn't win that sprint he knows that as ND even after shower he said amazing race,fans,parcours, honor to race VDP just wishes he could have got our all power on his sprint. He still wouldn't have made podium he's so stubborn at win or bust reaction was as said inexperience, adrenaline in arguably best one day race on calendar he out climbed every one in cobbles just not enough power left to keep pace high to mvdp on ropes as he did go to gutter on patterberg something no other rider has forced him too. Dvb waits all year for these races he was great at Cannondale in year Gilbert solo'd podium meant something to him and he closed door for Dutch winner and 1-2 in end. Jury reviewed it not like he didn't force tadej to break but that's tadejs fault he did it on team with no help as debutante. I'd appreciate the incredible race only shame was no Wout. Alla ideally as well for me. 🥂 Cheers felicitations et voulez-vous le tour avec plaisir et le tour.....c'est magnifique tour le cyclistes etait la.

@@epincion I've been watching since 80s only conspiracy theories I believed were verbruggen as uci pres being opportunistic with lance as big fan of lemond or anyone truly races agua. Win 3 tours and two worlds the latter of which with birdshot lodged near heart. As tour de France defending champ in 92 to say "I could never ride a bike like that" was quite telling. Loved the lucho Herrera's etc anyway I'm rambling enjoy

@@ryanphelan6861 Van Baarle did what he needed to secure a podium while being in the rules. Tadej only has himself to blame to let the race chill for so long and losing the podium, but he will be there sometime soon.
