Great rv park. We stayed in site #4 the week after this past Christmas. Loved it. Very good review... and yes our only complaints were road noise and the lack of bike riding ability from the park... although the Gulf Shores NP was only 15 minutes away and a wonderful place to bike. Safe travels. bg

Very nice job on your review of Santa Rosa. We stayed there the month of January and can agree with all that you said! We included a little info about this place in our travel vlog, but since we most do "stuff to do and see" and not reviews, we felt yours is much better at showing off the resort. Kudos!😉

This place is great to be on the bottom of our list. Pricing is very high although the waterfront is nice. After staying at Fort wilderness i tend to compare most private resorts to it. If staying in Destin i to choose Topsail state park first before choosing this place. But it's good to know it's here.

Yes, I've heard that Ft Wildernss is hard to beat. We do almost all camping at State Parks in MN, but I've heard that FL parks are very hard to get into in the winter....do you find that to be true?

@@DriveNorth that is very true. It has gotten really hard to get into. There are sites that allow you to check cancellations in real time and it will alert you of an opening. Salt springs campground has a different booking system as it is a national park and it's easier to get into and really nice.
