Love this suite. I would suggest 2 swivel accent chairs to replace the two you have and a drop down small table between them that mounts to the wall. That way the table height will be more comfortable and serve for dining and playing games and you can swivel the chairs to meet your immediate needs. Happy cruising. 🎉

I would look into 2 small recliners. Look at RV furniture, it’s comfy and designed for small places.

Oh wow - what a lovely upgrade! I’m fine with no outside space for a regular 7-14 night cruise, but I think for such a length of time you’ll get value out of a room like this. Enjoy!! 🎉

Oh my gosh. It is wonderful. I am so sad, because as now a widow I miss so much the long cruises my husband & I enjoyed. Thank you for letting me enjoy your room & balcony. Wonderful upgrade! I wouldn’t like having just my bed (or 1 shared chair) to sit on while in my room. As an introvert I would need a private place to restore my soul. Beautiful balcony and indoor sitting area. Happy for you guys!

What an incredible change from what you had to this. Just the chairs to sit in, and to be able to stay off the bed is great. Exceptional is the length and the beautiful deck. Nothing like being able to get fresh air instantly by just opening a door. Your first cabin I wondered how I could live like that? I couldn't. This is worth the price if you can afford it, which seems you can. Great voyages to you both. This is now what you can call a home.

What a substantial upgrade, it is a beautiful room. I would feel the same, you are along time at sea so a small room would be difficult. Because your deck area is narrow, you should get rid of one of the lounge chairs and place a small table nearby. It is not quite big enough for a grouping of chairs so I look forward to see how you style it. Congratulations on a great decision.

I loved this tour. I actually looked into Village Vie and this is the cabin I would have picked. I like my quiet time while hanging out on a balcony. I understand that cats are also allowed on the ship! This is a dream retirement!

What a lovely cabin & a terrific upgrade! The space is 100% better, the furnishings, the layout, the balcony (of course). I like the wood tone of the cabinets in your room, along with the desks, nightstands...general decor. Also your use of the magnetic shelves (love those). Congrats on this big change. Now this is a nice private space to enjoy & savor.

You could turn the inside chairs around to face the ocean.maybe pivet the TV to be on the side of the chairs so you can look out at sea and see the fire on the TV.And or face the TV to see on the deck.lovely

I love your new cabin. The fit and finish are nicer than the previous room and the balcony is quite simply awesome! I would sit out there for hours with a hat and sunscreen and look for other boats, dolphins, sea turtles, whales, etc. the privacy it affords and the additional square footage is worth its weight in gold. The cabinetry inside is stunning. The wood is beautiful, timeless, and it’s rich and warm in tone. You guys chose well and I’m excited to see what comes next. Thanks for sharing. 😊❤️

Wow! Such a gorgeous new cabin! Now this has the space and amenities to make this feel like home! I love that you have space to have separate areas in the cabin. Also love the 2 desks and the bigger shower space. I do wish you had 2 vanities, but I know cruise ship’s design don’t always allow the space for them. The balcony is magnificent! I think you are both very wise to wait on making more changes before investing in more of your own furnishings. Live in it a bit and see what you want! I love this cabin and totally agree with your decision!

Now that is a nice cabin. I would have become claustrophobic in the old cabin in a matter of days, but the new cabin has so much more elbow room and natural light. The balcony is really large -- with the right clothes, a blanket and a comfortable chair you could be out there enjoying fresh air in almost any weather. Your Apple TV system sounds like a terrific addition. Any chance to get a mini-fridge installed? Chilled drinks and ice from a mini-ice tray would be awesome. Very good move to move up.

I love it! I've done over 25 cruises and always go for the balcony rooms or suites. I would love to join you two but I'm an older gal of 80 and my great-grands are growing up so fast I can't get away for a long stretch. I could hope for a segment couldn't I? What a wonderful home you guys have made! This is big enough for a lifetime. Maybe a small normal height table inside between your chairs. Then you can turn the chairs toward the table for a quiet meal together. Of course the chairs could be turned out as they are in the video.

Smart move! We love, cruising we go at least once a year and a balcony is a must have. I know people say you hardly spend any time in your room, but we do I love just sitting out on the balcony, relaxing, staring at the ocean having a glass of wine or a cup of coffee. Good choice guys, me my wife and daughter just got back from a carnival cruse couple days ago and had one of captain sweets on the opposite side corner on the top deck 8 and it was very convertible with 3 people. Not as nice as you guys cabin but way better then down below or in the middle cabins, and I love the deck view from the back you can't beat it.
