This space is so fresh and really inspiring. I especially enjoyed the dark red corridor. What a clever way to link spaces so unexpectedly with such arresting effect. The kitchen tiles again are such an unexpected choice and made me really take notice. I loved all the small details and found this whole clip full of new design ideas that are really ahead of the times. Wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing and bringing these creative peoples vision to my attention.

Hats off to the architect and designers, is a tasteful house, but in the same time it looks rather like a museum than a home.

With that said there is an austerity that is the opposite of comfort. The feeling is that of a showroom not a home where a child romps or the kitchen gets messy.

I love the stone and ceramic especially in the master bathroom. I enjoyed seeing the work of local artists and crafts people and the “light of Lisbon.”

One would need to have the cooperation of a very talented contractor to do custom work in so many rooms! I just finished a project in a 92 year old house in Baltimore and the GC fought me on EVERYTHING. I finally ditched him to have the work finished by someone who shared my vision. It’s hard to vet for that level of cooperation. But it’s worth fighting for, as we see here!

If you understand this video is an ad for their design business then it makes sense.

I appreciate the natural and locally sourced materials but the design is quite jarring. The primary bed would be so uncomfortable to get up from, for anyone over 35. The guest bed frame with the oversized stone legs is ugly. To me it is more a gallery than a comfortable home. Galleries are lovely to visit but not to live in.

Actually most cultures in the world people sleep close to the ground. People roll off the bed, sit cross legged then stand up. Also if you think it’s normal to deteriorate in health using the age of 35 as a yardstick you are seriously misled 🥲

I agree I would not wish to live here as actually as an artist there are too many limitations with color And perhaps too much of a serious manner. No light in the kitchen and tiles are too simiar to flesh.
