Thank you Andrei for the tour of this beautiful gem of a condo home in Roscoe Village. hahaha, i saw that coffee shop right next door!!! So nice to be so close to a morning cup. I liked how the first floor is open concept length wise front to the rear of the first floor. Yes, I was pointing to those brown wood colors beams in the ceiling there in the forward leaving room. They are very attractive and nice! Walking towards the dinning room and seeing this area is nice. The kitchen is very very functional with the beautiful chef stove, he center island is awesome! But when you touched to frig I was take a back!!! That is too cute!!!! Living room space is very a comfortable area. Furthermore, the bedrooms and bath rooms including the Maser Suite are exceptional with the attractive black doors. Finally, the almost enclosed back porch with a fire place and the roof top function are heaven. Again, thank you for showing this condo home.

True but property tax is a lot and that’s coming from a girl from NJ and lived in NYC but we don’t have another state or local income tax so I consider it like that. I love Roscoe but we ended up buying in north center, which is also great!
@DailyRants893 жыл бұрын
@@euenfheiejrj I know property taxes can be high. I own a condo in Chicago. When searching, I looked at property taxes and HOA fees very carefully. The good thing about Roscoe Village is that you feel as if your property taxes are actually going to something useful (good schools).
@euenfheiejrj3 жыл бұрын
@@DailyRants89 yeah and I love the city so I’m okay with it. I just treat it like another added expense but I think at a million, I would still prefer a single family home in that neighborhood.

@@euenfheiejrj understandable. You can still get a a SFH for that price in Roscoe Village. There are a bunch of beautiful blocks that have a bunch of SFH. I love Chicago as well. I just wish our government would help reduce crime. That is our biggest issue as a city.

Oh and I have a pet peeve you and many other realtors say "two living rooms"...It's actually a "parlor/living room"...and the other is a family/lounge room....One is for relaxing with family and friends. The other is for more formal meetings for business and co-workers that's needs to stay clean and fresh at all times for unexpected drop ins. When you have a family and a busy schedule it's a must have.

I liked the interior, the principal bedroom is magnificent. The one thing I found distracting is that the windows on the sides all face brick walls. Maybe frosted windows to let the light in but block the view.
@andreisavtchenko3 жыл бұрын
Yeah, killer bedroom. Most buildings in Chicago neighborhoods will have the drawback of having another building next door. There are good solutions for that...most important is maximizing the natural light!

Thank you for sharing! The rooftop looks great. Quick question, what makes this a condo instead of a house?
@andreisavtchenko3 жыл бұрын
Legal ownership. With a house, you own the structure and land underneath it. With condos, you have neighbors and own everything inside the walls. This building has two units which makes it a condo....but a big condo!

Another beautiful home quick question Andrei what makes it a condo as opposed to a "house" are there more units in the building?
@andreisavtchenko3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Rob! When you buy a house, you purchase the home structure and the land it sits on, while condo owners own just the unit they live in, not the larger building or the land on which it's built. This property has two condos, a duplex down and duplex up. Feels like a house but you do have a neighbor.
