So I watched one of your vids recently from about a year ago. It was a tour of a Bell Air Family home with a massive primary bedroom. You guys have taken this to a whole new level. Especially with the freaking interchanges between day and night. OMG! You guys! That editing is masterful! At first I wondered...how the EFF did they do that? But now I can see how. Still, the way you two pulled it off was splendid. Also, you two Mikey and Enes, your banter feels so genuine and relaxed. It just adds to the viewer's pleasure. Although the homes you show are absolutely gorgeous and its wonderful to have the chance to see them, it seems as though these home owners are living in a fishbowl! There doesn’t seem to be any personal privacy anywhere. Even if I had the means, I don’t think I could live in a home like these. Having said that, I do so love seeing them, so thank you and don’t stop.

I lived on a street where everyone kept their window blinds open. While a little jarring at 1st, eventually it just becomes a thing and you stop watching or noticing the neighbours. They kind of just become a part of the background.
@scorpioempress6324 күн бұрын
Exactly what I thought because for that kind of $$$? I don’t want any neighbors that close to me. I lived in VA Beach in a beautiful townhome. I knew my neighbors husband’s name before I even met them. When I was walking outside to get my mail? I saw him coming out to get into his truck. He spoke and I said hello Tony. He looked at me like I had 10 heads and asked if I knew him from somewhere? I told him I didn’t know him personally but.. I sleep with my windows open at night and apparently, so does he and his wife. 😏🤷🏽♀️ He turned beet red 😳 and I just started LMAO. 😂 I just walked back into my house and they never slept with their windows open anymore.

Another excellent video as always Enes, awesome to see how far this channel has come and wish you, Mikey and everyone else involved even greater success in 2023 and beyond. Also I'm glad you're mentioning more of the engineering lately as it truly is incredible what goes into making these huge open spaces and floating cantilever designs and such and still have them withstand some of the worst things nature can throw at them. PS - Caissons and piles are the same thing only the caisson is a 'drilled pile' where they drill a hole in the ground and then fill it with reinforced concrete while standard piles are typically precast systems that get driven/hammered into the ground with pile-drivers. Using caissons allows for larger piles than the standard precast ones which is useful for areas where ground movement is a concern while in hurricane regions it's more just settlement/erosion, sustained winds and water pressures from storm surges against the above ground structure to deal with so the piles don't have to be as large as if withstanding significant ground movements. Happy holidays!

This house probably has the best interior lighting I've ever seen on any of your house tours. I'm not sure whether it's the time of day or your own camera settings but every space in that house is lit up perfectly. Each area has just enough light for the space and it doesn't bleed into other areas, and when you transition, those next areas have just enough light themselves. In other words, lighting from different rooms don't interfere with each other. In video games or photography you'd call that bloom. No glaring bulbs or oversaturation. It's just perfect, like the light comes from nowhere and everywhere at the same time. Whoever did the lighting on this house is a master at their craft.

Beautiful house. Gorgeous. I'm a big fan of water and well-lit spaces. My only thing, as an audiophile, is the living room and any area people hang out and talk, it has so much echo from the wall design. Listening to a movie or talking with your friends would sound like that weird echo you get on a bad call. Once again, gorgeous house. There are creative ways with popcorn and subtle sound dispersing decor ( tapestry here or there, or other ways to baffle the sound) that can improve that.

Love the new day+night footage integration. It seems rather complicated to split your entire script and tell half of it at night, but including the night video of a room right as you are done with it, if that doesn't interrupt the flow to much. Or play a few seconds of it with your voice as a voiceover, that doesn't even interrupt it. That way it's much easier to see what you mean about a certain rooms look at night.

Those sometimes "hidden" cuts from the intermediary night shots back to day without any aknowledgment, just masterful editing and coordination. Your Videos were always masterfully done, but this is even better, still cant believe it
