Well cars are supposed to drive, and it’s race cars so they are easier to repair. But yes it’s entertaining and sad. So you know I love old cars and hate electric and newer cars.

I don't agree that they are 'proper cars', they are pretty shitty, but if you put decent drivers in them it becomes 'proper racing'. In contrast, F1 cars are great, the drivers are great, but the racing is total shit, too predictable and no special skills needed (not like with these cars anyway).

Best racing (mostly) comes from: clunky brakes x horsepower = bigger difference between lowest and highest speeds = overtaking opportunities.

Plenty of repro parts for a Mustang or Camaro, but that poor Javelin...good luck trying to find parts for that nice and rare car. I had a '69 AMX and parts are scarce and expensive for AMC cars.
