Great content here Jett. Love your attention to details. I think I’d like the Thong Lor area since I lived and worked in Tokyo for 10 years...

Enjoyed your corny jokes and convictions on the good places. Like the way you described the passionate sushi chef.

Jett, maybe you should just drop the real estate pretense and teach the art of Bangkok seduction classes... we're onto you! 😂

Thank you for your kind reply I really meant no criticism of your efficient and excellent work, but as a person from a different generation than yours, allow me to give you my perspective without insinuating in any way that you have to change or I expect anything at all out of my comment. Simply speaking I agree with everything you say, this modern era is about efficiency, digital connections, productivity and speed, corporations and government focus are all about indoctrinating the young to just relate to those kinds of communication actions and connections as if they are an organic part of our DNA. Well friend, I take all this computing and tech advancement with a grain of salt, I am not in a race to trans humanisn and it was not preordained by devine mandate that civilization had to evolve this way and that we humans have to constantly push the envelop and if you don't think there is some wisdom in what I am telling you, just go around the corner and you will probably find a bunch of monks dress in orange that will wisely tell you the same thing. Eventually I think Thailand is going to lose its soul like many other countries I know already have, and that is a shame, but then again we can't stop "progress" right? I like technology up to a point but I enjoy more this kind of Civilized in depth connections with people because as much as I try I can't let the virtual world posses me, I have to draw a line and find some sanity in this life, that is why Before moving to Thailand I need to be introspective and ask myself if there is still anything that I would consider will fulfill my soul or I would just end up in a place which will make me as another retired zombie. I watch lots of videos from your country because its a relaxing way to transport myself to ideal worlds and make belief realities, indeed Imagination is my weapon of choice, I knew the world before technology ruled and it was fun living in the days you had to earn your relationships way before mass marketing and the algorithms created a dystopia of unimaginable proportions were society is being artificially induced and programmed to accept as and behave within certain accepted guidelines of obedience and debatable Ethics, and wealth never reached a level of obscenity like in so many cases. Take your co. For example, it was purchased not for the love, dedication, history, cultural significance but only for the opportunity it presented to make it efficient, stream line the operation, expand expand expand and look for more markets and improve the bottom line and believe it or not when it reaches the desired size and performance it will be dumped to a big conglomerate in a Heartless and cold calculated transaction. I was in the car business and I started from the bottom before becoming a dealer leaning how to sell cars when it was considered an art and It depended not on a computer but on what you learned through years of experience, today that talent is no longer needed because the machine is more efficient In understanding the needs of people. No hard feelings but sales is really an obsolete trade. Like I mentioned, you are a great asset for your company And I wish you don't pay too much attention to what I say because that will probably won't bring you good results In the demanding and changing world your generation is shaping and Accepting. The brave new world.

Thank you for your perspective. I think the degree in which a person chooses to adopt technologies is something everyone needs to figure out for themselves. Turning to the wisdom of Buddha and you have "the Middle Way." What is the middle way? It's a life-long philosophical discussion whose scope is way beyond a simple KZbin comment thread. All the best!

Jett, you are a charismatic fellow but if you want to Do real estate videos or any other video in Thailand for that matter, like we say here, Get your ass off the chair And do some real leg work :), In order to show us the real Thing instead of a virtual boring description which we can do from any computer or phone.. Because if you remember how boring was going to school was?, well, this is a similar torture. Try going in person to all this places, I am sure you will be well received with the reputation of your co. Besides It will be nice to get out of the office sometimes, if Tim doesn't want to give you permission I will be happy to talk to him since we are old friends. Remember that too many words often get lost in translation.

Hi. Thank you for your honest feedback and you raised a great point regarding leg work, so allow me to respond accordingly. Reviewing condos virtually is exactly the point of this channel. I am taking advantage of new technology that allows me to transcend physical space and time. It’s is part of greater trend happening that I like to call “the virtual wave” which will be a catalyst for immense economic productivity in the coming years. Conducting meetings via Zoom; learning online at 2x, 3x, or 4x lecture speed instead of attending a “boring” class and learning at the same pace as the slowest person in class; or electronically typing out your comment instead of writing it on paper and mailing it to me - all these virtual activities reduce costs and exponentially increases productivity. Viewing condos virtually saves people precious time and money from traveling to and fro and allows them to make more informed decisions. It also raises the transparency level for the real estate market, a huge benefit to consumers. The technology that makes this possible is finally affordable and scalable and it is why I am so bullish on this. So no, I don’t think what I’m doing is lazy the same way a person who sits “on his ass” in a car to commute to work instead of by horseback isn’t lazy. Humans are constantly finding a productivity edge. That being said, yes, I actually do plan on doing in-person reviews every now and then when it’s worth it: touring a majestic mansion that needs to be given justice, for example. Cheers.
