Yes, Stephanie, thank you for the entire Advent Series of vlogs. However, this one was exceptionally poignant... treating Marie to this absolutely amazing trip to Paris during the Christmas season and sharing it with your subscribers as well. The filming of Notre Dame's interior was exquisite! I assume this was all your grand talent. Your eye and steady hand in framing and filming this most magnificent results of the skilled artists in the restoration of the incomparable, breathtaking Notre Dame in all her stunning glory! Then the background music you chose brought me right into the film as if I were physically there. One of your best vlogs yet! Merry Christmas from BarbnBend in northwest USA

I Know that the Cathedrals were built for the Glory of God; KEN FOLLETT'S PILLARS OF THE EARTH gave a readable insight of how the great gothic churches were built and PRINCE CHARLES OF THE UK gave us appreciation by his insistence that the ancient trades/skills should be learned and preserved and STEPHANIE'S renovations gave us a close--up of the work and costs needed to preserve these buildings and the ingenuity of past generations. Thank you for lighting a candle at 11:32 for ST. CHARLES BORROMEO, Patron of Catechists ( from a Catechist for 27 years). Your program added dimensions to the coverage of Notre Dame. I pray that I might see her in person again!! From New York, USA.

Wow, that was so cool to see the inside of the Notre Dame. I was there in 1990 and yes it was dark and a bit dreary honestly. It is so beautiful and light now-I was confused for a moment-so beautiful. We walked up into the bell tower and a pigeon (there were 100 or more in there) pooped on my shoulder and hair. Yay 😆 I feel strangely connected to the renewal in “Our Lady” because I feel like I know some of the wonderful people who worked on the restoration-of course I don’t and even though I live in San Diego, I at least know who they are. That is surprisingly a wonderful feeling. Also not surprised your father liked the Benedictine monk’s tapestries-there is a certain similarity in their styles in my opinion.

Those flans with the removable bottoms are a priceless investment for any kitchen! I was told once years ago to seal the bottom prior to baking with a little softened butter to prevent leakages. I haven't had a leakage when I have not sealed them, but I tend to do so to be on the safe side. Loving Notre Dame. I had reservations about the idea of the repairs, wondering whether it might not be better to settle for stabilisation and keeping it as it was, but now I have seen it, it looks wonderful, to be honest. Thank you for the video! Love to everyone at Lalande! I hope you have an amazing day tomorrow!

No part of the Notre Dame you showed was recognizable to me. Back in 1978 I stepped into the cathedral for the first time on a cold and gloomy morning. In the background choir practice was ongoing, and scarce few tourists were about on that early winter morning. Thank you for sharing the progress of my dear old friend.
