To all those from around the world who view this video and want to come to Australia, please do as you are more than welcome. As an Aboriginal Australian I welcome all to this old land. Migrate if you want to as well. Ive adopted more wonderful fellow traveller's than I can remember. The world is becoming more accessible so why not visit us down under. Who knows you may want to stay. Who am I.... a member of the Gunditjmara Tribe ( 60,000 years Aussie). : ) I will leave the light on.

I live in Australia, but currently I’m on a four month trip to Japan. Whilst being in Japan, it’s been amazing and the tradition and culture here is so strong, which we don’t really have in Australia, but what I’ve realised that we do have, is just a relaxing, free lifestyle that kind of just takes all your worries away. Work in Japan is such a stressful, massive part of their life here, and that’s actually considered normal here, but in Australia, going out for the weekend on a road trip or going snorkeling or to the beach is considered normal, and that makes me very glad to be Australian and live in such a big, vast, spacious country. My backyard in Australia (which is very average in size), is bigger than about 95% of a typical Japanese home. Nobody here has space, and everywhere you go there are just so many people doing the same commute or same thing, and rarely do people have a smile on their face. In Australia, we are always smiling.

I remember all those Paul Hogan Australian commercials, and always wanted to go to Australia. And then 20 years ago I got a chance to do just that when the Kansas Air National Guard took our B-1 Bomber to an air show in Australia. I took every opportunity I had to go to the outback, and out on the water! I have never seen such beauty as Australia! It was a totally amazing experience! Also the people are the most friendly, and good-natured that I have ever met!

As an Aussie, I wish they would have included more Aboriginal features than just 1 shot or 2 shots... Don't get me wrong, this was beautifully shot but this gives me an incomplete feeling because I know the country I live in.

perhaps you might make one to share? I have not seen this place referred to as Oz, but it seems truly beautiful and the folks with whom I have chatted have been so solid... and enjoyable.

+Kitty Purrs Have a search for Australian Tourism - Where the bloody hell are you. And notice the sounds of the didgeridoo in the background, the cheery friendliness of the people, the indigenous Aussies, the red, landscapes of 'outback Australia', where you find the real, hearty atmosphere and people. I love the cool, calm, spiritual feeling of this new ad but yeah, it's just missing the juicy parts to this place. You can truly appreciate the country when you experience both the country's roughness outback, the amazing indigenous culture, the scenery, beaches and city life... It has so many layers to it! This ad only showed you a small portion, but I guess it was meant to tease one to wanna come here☺️

There's so much to see and discover in our own backyard and I have been to every city as well as outback country towns and am in awe with my beautiful country. How does the song go? "I still call Australia home" How does the quote go? "I wouldn't be dead for quids".

@MinutesWithMates3 жыл бұрын
It’s a lot of places: Queensland, South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia, to name a few. Most of it is coastal and they don’t show a lot of inland places. Northern Territory isn’t the only place that you can’t swim in summer... North Queensland and North Western Australia are the same. Between April and November you can swim in all those places and that’s great because up there it’s summer all year

I feel like you guys could have made a better effort to tell a story about water, instead of throwing together meaninglesa aesthetic clips together. We are a nation surrounded by water, yet there are times when water is scarce. Water feeds the trees, plants, animals and inhabitants of the land . Our shores exhibit some of the most unique rock formations in the world due to erosion, while our beaches are places where families and friends frolic and play. We have the most number of pools per household in the world; our springs and basins collect some of the freshest water in the world. So much more could be told with the concept of water, not just using it as a backdrop for scenic pleasure.
