In "bad as the boys" it was ALMA singing the second part and Kylie and Tove voice actually sounds pretty similar too, it was Kylie at the second part as well in "really don't like u". I love this specific collab because they sound PERFECT together.

Also, Ben mate.. now you HAVE to reach to her debut album, The Queen of the Cloud ASAP!!! It’s one of the highest rated pop album release on that year and Tove Lo getting so much praise and great reviews from the music critics and music websites/media, etc. Hands down one of the most solid pop project in my opinion. That album has nothing but bangerss track by track. Hard hitting beat and melody? ✅ Deep lyrics? ✅ A pop album that talks not only about love? ✅ Don’t miss out, champpp! 😁

There he is! The king is back! I was lucky enough to see Tove on the Sunshine Kitty Tour in London right before the UK went into lockdown. This woman is a powerhouse performer, a beast on stage. I highly recommend treating yourself to a ticket next time she’s in a city near you.

Been a bit since i listened to this one but your reaction reminded me how great this album is. Been able to seeder live three times (QotC, Lady Wood and Sunshine Kitty tours) and she's been amazing in all. Actually got to see her last tour date, stopping the SK tour in London 2020 ahead of Covid. I can see others have said it, but Queen of the Clouds really is a great debut and a must listen. Plus, so many deluxe tracks to check out in your own time (or a special video to hear them? :P) Anywhere you go, Mistaken and Bad as the boys are probably my top 3, with Matteo a close 4th. Really don't like you was a big grower for me though so let is sit with you!

Glad you liked it even tho “Equally Lost” and “Really Don’t Like U” are fan favorites and my own personal favorites lol so I don’t know what went wrong there. “Sunshine Kitty” is a way to call her v@gina since the last two albums were also about that “Lady Wood” (v@ginal erection) “Blue Lips” (v@ginal blue balls) and now “Sunshine Kitty” which she claims was inspired by an episode of “Girls” where one line was about this woman sunbathing naked so she called her kittycat Sunshine Kitty. Since Tove started dating she’s been overall happier hence she felt like making a happier album so yeah her vag is thriving i guess. In terms of lyrical content, this album was inspired by her upbringing and the insecurities she had in relationships growing up. She talks about her best friends not being responsive due to their shitty bf (“Glad He’s Gone”); her first ever lesbian romance which left her broken since fuckgirls are also a thing (“Bad as the boys”); her hoe phase (“Stay Over”; “Jaques”; “Equally Lost”); her vulnerability with partners which scares her (“come undone”; “sweettalk my heart”); her insecurities when it comes to partners like feeling like she’s not enough or that he’s cheating (“Mateo”; “Mistaken”); her being the lover and the guy not telling his partner about her (“Are U gonna Tell Her”); her seeing her ex with another girl and thinking “why am I hating on the girl, I should be hating on my ex” (“Really dont like u”); her not giving a fuck about stupid mental blocks and just letting (“Shifted”) all converging into one moment, that of following ber new partner no matter what happens, it’s time for her to invest in a new relationship, learning from the past ones and finally letting herself fully go (“Anywhere U Go”). It’s a beautiful story, really. You should also react to her videos “Glad He’s Gone” (which was nominated at the Grammys for best music video) and “Are U Gonna Tell Her” (fanstic colors and vibe, probably my fav video from her). And also u should react to the Paw Prints Edition of the album “Bikini Porn”; “I’M Coming”; “Sadder Badder Cooler” and “Passion and Pain Taste the Same When I’m Weak” are so worth it. And finally her debut album!! (Blueprint Edition)!!!!!

There is a theory that the album tells the story of the album persona's love life. Gritty Petty it's a voicemail from Mateo(the one who's the track 8 is named after), asking her about Uma(probably his new lover), and finally telling her that he doesn't eat the same p*ssy every day... Glad He's Gone it's about getting over the heartbreak. In BATB, she meets a girl, but then get heartbroke again. SMH is about wanting to stay with someone's not right to stay with. In Stay Over, she's being the heartless person, don't giving a f*ck about the breakup of the guy that she's seeing. AUGTH, she's being the lover, making love with a commited guy. On Jacques, she has a 1 night with a guy, and that's it. Mateo, we go back to the intro, and now she's very hurt, but still chasing him, despite his indifference. Come Undone, she's realizing that she's broken, without Mateo. In Equally Lost, she finds someone who's also broken, and spend the party with this person. RDLU, she sees Mateo walking in with Uma(Gritty Pretty), and both girls are feeling jealous, because they thinks that Mateo loves the other. Shifted, she realizes that her past relationship wasn't that good, and she says that she's done with it. I'm not sure where Mistaken fits here, but maybe it's Uma's sight of Tove's and Mateo past relationship. In AYG, Tove's admits that she just want to be loved and have someone who's always on her side. In the Deluxe Edition(Paw Prints Edition), we have 4 new songs, but nothing with the theory.
