Why did God allowed tbe Jewish Temple be destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD? Why did God allowed Jewish diaspora after that? In th Old Testament, we read that when Jews were faithful, God protected them and made them prosperous. During the 1st century, Jews were very religious. So why did God abandoned them? What was their sin? This answer should show that Tovia Singer has a big question to answer. We know Moses did not enter the promised land because he struck the rock twice instead of speaking to the rock. Likewise, Jews who waits for the new Messiah to come will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Trying to sacrifice the Messiah a second time is disobedience which will lead to death

What is even more Ludacris is the way Christians tell Jews what their own Bible means. They fall back on Paul, who couldn't read a word of Hebrew, with the veils over our eyes and scales and hearts of stone. I mean could you imagine telling a devout Hindu no no no you got it all wrong...

@@albundy1469 How's Peg? Still together? May I suggest something to you with sincerity and respect? Take the next six months of your life and study basic Hebrew. Learning to read is relatively easy. Learning words and grammar harder but not terribly hard. Then start reading the Torah from the beginning. It says in the Bible that the Torah is the source of wisdom and understanding. You will be reading the actual words that G-d conveyed to Moses. Not the translation but the actual words. You will feel it to the very bottom of your neshama. All the best!

@davidkatz341 Ай бұрын
@@brentaughe7539 And you know this how? Paul saying he was a Pharisees of Pharisees? The man couldn't read Hebrew. He might have read a few Greek translations like many educated Greeks but a religious leader? One thing that strikes Jews so obviously when we read Paul is that he hasn't any knowledge not being raised in a Jewish home. Let me give you an analogy. Let's assume you were not a member of the Amish community. But you started writing things about what it was like growing up Amish and farming as an Amish farmer and getting married in the Amish community and going to the Amish Church and going to the Amish social hall for Amish events... A person who was truly of that community would read it and start laughing and know instantly that the person was making it up. The same with Paul. When Paul says things like I and of the tribe of Benjamin born under the law and circumcised on the 8th day... Who talks like this? Lol. Plus, it is written in the book of Acts at Paul was a Roman citizen. Well my goodness. How did that happen? A big time religious Jewish leader who was also Roman citizen? It is more likely that Paul was a herodian. I have a guess that he was probably the son of a Roman father and Jewish mother. That is if what is said in acts is true. However there's no way to know either way. The one thing we do know is that anyone who doesn't know that The Hebrew word for seed is an ill regular plural doesn't know Hebrew 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Just wow. I was born into a non devout Lutheran family. I wanted so much to know G-d that I walked to church by myself as a 7 year old to sing in the choir during church after Sunday school. That didn't happen for long as I got tired of people asking me where my parents were and kids teasing me for dressing funny. I ignored religion for years until some JW's got me involved with their cult. That ended badly when i disagreed with no blood transfusions to save my life if need be but oh my gosh, I can't smoke a cigarette because that will kill me. I couldn't find anywhere in the bible that transfusions were a sin and JW's do not like questions like that. So, off to Southern Baptists I go....and really, I can't even begin to explain the answers I was getting. 40 years later, I observe my niece , nephew and great nephew on Friday right before sundown, lighting candles, saying prayers, eating that wonderful bread and sipping from a goblet of wine, washing their hands and being just plain happy. I knew they had converted several years ago but had never witnessed their lifestyle so closely. They answered so many questions from me that night and never made me feel stupid. My nephew gave me 2 books called "Let's get Biblical" and told me he read them several times when thinking of converting from Jews for Jesus to Conservative Judaism. What I would like to say to you in closing, Jews are the chosen people because they are the example for all of us to follow and learn how to have a wonderful relationship with G-d. My nephew explained to me, I did not need to convert but he would help me to know our G-d thru the Hebrew scriptures. Our G-d has opened my eyes through the example of His people. A very big thank you to you Rabbi Singer.

Interestingly Rabbi, Tyndale's last words when being burned at the stake were," God,open the King of England's eyes". Israel represents a state of confusion and separation from God, a consequence given to those who did not heed His words. It symbolizes a condition that is neither divine nor human, reflecting a spiritual disconnection - a curse. Supporting Israel as a physical state or a representation of God's image can be seen as prioritizing personal glory over truth. Those who do so seek glory more than seeking to align with the truth that God provides. Israel is destined to fall because NOTHING can overcome God.

If the caller thinks that the KJV Bible is inerrant, I am willing to give him dozens of errors and mistranslations of texts. It is doubtful that the caller possesses a KJV 1611 translation. At the front of it are two letters from the translators. Here is a synopsis of the letters. The first letter is to thank the king for the assignment of translation. The second letter is to the readers letting them know that the translators did the best that they could with their knowledge and understanding of the Hebrew TaNaCH. They stated that as knowledge increase, errors in their translation will be found, and that such errors should be corrected. Additionally, they depended heavily on the late Septuagint, a Greek translation of the TaNaCH, the so-called Old Testament.

Wasn't Paul secretly working for the Flavian Dynasty? Weren't all of the original Roman Catholic Saints' members of the Flavian Dynasty? Weren't all of the original symbols used by the earliest Christians identical to those of the Flavian Dynasty? And wasn't the earliest iconographic image of Jesus The Christ in a catacomb, under the city of Rome, which was owned by a Flavian Princess? Weren't all of the original Jesus cult texts produced under the oversight of the Flavian Dynasty? Weren't the canonical texts all back dated like the historical fiction of Gone With The Wind? There was no separation of Church and State in the Roman Empire. And Christianity is clearly a Greco-Roman hybrid form of Judaism created by the Flavian Dynasty in order to adapt, pacify, and integrate the rebellious and defiant Jews into the rest of the Greco-Roman Empire. It isn't history it is all simply Greco-Roman mythopoetic literature. Today it is known as Historical Fiction.💙

As an ex-christian, I can tell you I was surrounded very closely by KJV Onlyists. Still am. But one thing that I never will understand is why praise the KJV when you already had the christian Geneva Bible, that came out 50 years or 12 years before depending on which edition, that does exactly the same thing as the KJV and much more? It was the first Bible to include numbered verses, chapters, it has geographical pictures, extensive footnotes, historical importance and everything else the KJV did but years before. A lot of these things the KJV failed to rival decades later. The KJV Bible is not the first to do anything, period. Yes, King James I of England was a homo so if you want that tainted on the front cover of your Bible, go for it. At least John Calvin was a devoted scholar to his work on the Geneva Bible.

Translations… ugh… One thing that Rabbi Singer knows inside out, and here you can't out-dispute him, is his Bible, including the New testament. But we should remember that even the Hebrew Tanakh of today is a translation of older texts assembled during the Babylonian exile in the 6th century BCE. Some of these texts were written in archaic Hebrew that was half a millennium old already back then. Eventually when Masoretes put together the first complete authoritative version of Hebrew Tanakh in the second half of the first millennium CE, the text was already a translation from several much older versions of Hebrew. We see the differences when comparing the text with Dead Sea Scrolls and with Septuagint. Languages evolve. The ancient Hebrew of 1,000 BCE was more distant from the Hebrew of Hillel than Chaucer's English is distant from ours. So when debating the Bible and invoking quotations based on popular translations, especially the old ones like King James, we should be aware of possible translation problems. Not every phrase or idiom of people who lived 3,000 years ago can be meaningfully translated to modern English.

@@hrvatskinoahid1048 The text you find in Tanakh scrolls today is the Masoretic text. The oldest copy of it is the Leningrad Codex (it's not a scroll). It was produced in Cairo in 1010 CE. The Dead Sea Scrolls are older but incomplete. The famous Great Isiah Scroll, best preserved, is dated to 125 BCE. It differs from what you find in the Masoretic text. The language differs which is reflected in spelling. This is consistent with the period in which the scroll was written. There are later insertions and corrections. Unlike later texts it's divided into two halves. Altogether there are 2,600 textual variants compared with the Masoretic text.
