"Ahad" in Arabic or "Ehad" in Hebrew refers to the One, the sole One, the One source, the One who was not begotten, the One who has no second, the Indivisible One true God. There is no trinity.

When Paul decided to hijack the message of Jesus he completely destroyed the Gospel of jesus and instead created other Gospels and a new religion called Christianity., Jesus was not Christian. He came to fulfill the law not to abolish it. He said clearly my father is the only true God. That was his gospel. Why do christians follow all other gospels and the Gospel of Jesus

Thats really funny and ironic. He's using the Arabic "Ahad" to prove his point when it actually disproves it. As the Rabi rightfully said, Ahad means One Alone. We as Muslims know it is strict and pure oneness and no other, it doesn't leave room for any unity or association. It's Absolute Oneness. He tried to sound smart but Rabi caught him. May God Bless you Rabi and keep us all on the true path.

How do hebrew speakers count to 5 in hebrew? "Echad, Shtayim, Shalosh, Arbah, chamesh", literally "One, two, three, four, five". The word Echad means One exaclty as it does in English. When someone says "i want one of this" it means one and not two not three not four, one. When someone decides to use the word "one" in the context of things "becoming one", then it is clarified via the special usage of it in that context, otherwise, exactly as it is in english, Echad is One. Imagine someone telling you "the word "one" doesnt actually mean "one"", you would crack up in their face.

If Jesus is the promised Jewish Messiah, he cannot be God, because the Messiah is an individual who is a sinner, NOT perfect that is according to the fame Messianic prophecy (2 Samuel 7:14 ESV). Further, the Messiah cannot die for the sins of all humanity, because he needs to be saved from his own sins. The Jewish Scripture is clear one person cannot die for the sins of others, everyone dies for their own sins (Exodus 32:31-33).

This was a battle of mine for years. So I went on a scriptural journey to find verses to prove a trinity. After writing by hand over 2000 verses on the absolute oneness of Hashem, I wept as I realized I had been wrong all those years. The final decision was knowing that one day I would stand before this trinity and if they told me I had given up this trinity for one G-d that I would say to all three of them, ‘but you said it in your word’. When my ears heard my mouth speak these words I began to weep finally realizing that the trinity was man-made, and that there is indeed only one G-d. It was a difficult journey because I did not want to lose my soul but when I realized the word of God never taught a Trinity, I realized the error of my thoughts and from that day to this, I embraced the G-d of Israel, and now I can stand before him one day and boldly proclaim words that he wrote himself, hear oh Israel the lord our God is one.

@frank n. Stein It depends on gramatical usage. With singular verb Elohim, when meaning the God of Israel, is mostly grammatically singular, and is commonly translated as "God", and capitalised. For example, in Genesis 1:26, it is written: "Then Elohim (translated as God) said (singular verb), 'Let us (plural) make (plural verb) man in our (plural) image, after our (plural) likeness'". Wilhelm Gesenius and other Hebrew grammarians traditionally described this as the pluralis excellentiae (plural of excellence), which is similar to the pluralis majestatis (plural of majesty, or "Royal we").[25][a] Gesenius comments that the singular Hebrew term Elohim is to be distinguished from elohim used to refer to plural gods.

He should have specifically named Jesus and holy ghost as the component parts. This is not a minor issue which should have been glossed over, everyone's salvation depends on this one question. If belief in Jesus as god is so critical as to damn one forever, it should have been there in black and white and should have been there from day one i.e. from Adam's time.

From the Law of Moses and the Prophets to Jesus and the Apostles, the one consistent message about God, from beginning to end, has been this (as initially stated in Deut. 6:4-5 and reiterated in Mark 12:29-30: “Hear, O Israel: The Lord is our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might.” (And Islam declares in the Shahada, it’s principal statement of faith, “There is no God but God.”) Now, unitarianism isn’t a monolith. Judaism and Islam are unitarian. Apostolic Christianity (that is, Christianity as depicted in the NT and other contemporary writings that weren canonized but were held as authoritative for centuries) is also unitarian. Jesus and the apostles, as observant Jews, were unitarian, often referring to the one God of Israel as “Father” (John 17:3, 1 Cor. 8:6), whom Jesus called “my God” (John 20:17, Rev. 3:12) and whom the apostles call the God of Jesus (Rom. 15:6, 2 Cor. 1:3, Eph. 1:17, 1 Peter 1:3). Jesus on the other hand is viewed as merely God’s servant, a human being appointed by God and invested with great power (Matt. 12:15-21, Matt. 28:18, Acts 3:13, Acts 4:27-30, Acts 17:31, Didache 9-10). There is really so much more that could be said, but, for now, I end it with what is written in James 2:19, which affirms the apostolic and unitarian faith that underscores the prophetic message going back to Abraham and all the righteous ancestors before and after him, and which we are called to maintain and affirm today and forever, whether you believe Jesus of Nazareth is the Messiah or not, because it is so self-evident and foundational that to fail in this is to fail in the bare minimum: “You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe-and shudder.” Best of luck.

It’s used often so we don’t misuse such a holy name, יהוה name of God and to keep it sacred and set apart. Although this is more of a rabbinic tradition, not all Jews say Hashem. Also there will only be a small remnant of Jewish people that will be truly faithful to God.

@@deedevs As for the dreamers and dreams . . . read again . . . to where Jeremiah says "Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams" The point is they wanted to cause the people to forget His Name. Sounds like they have caused the people to forget His Name, because no one seems to have the information on where His Name is in scripture or How it can be pronounced . . . Jew or Gentile. The christian church is lost on this as well. It couldn't be simpler . . . He said it was on the children. Numbers 6:27. The only name on the children that fits is a match for Exodus 3:14 AHYH. Done Deal . . . Aleph-Hay-Yod-Hay is His Name and it is pronounced as it is heard on all the children's names upon which it was placed. That sound is "eye-yah" as in Jeremiah aka Jerem-iah aka Jerem-eye-yah aka Jerem-HAYAH. His Name, HAYAH on the children, Jerem-HAYAH. There are over 140 names as witnesses to this fact.

If God were to have body and form, He would be limited and defined, because it is impossible for there to be a body which has no limitation. Everything that has limitation and definition, by virtue of its body, also has a limited and bounded power. Since God's ability and power have no limitation or boundary, His power is not the power of a body. And since He does not have a body or any form, He cannot be affected by any circumstances that can affect a body, as for example the effects of being separate from another entity. Thus it is impossible for Him to be anything other than one.

@Yoel Cohen well Jews also visit graves of celebrity rabbis who have passed away in droves. Last year or 2020 I think there were huge protests just because of this and the government wouldn't let Jews go because of covid. So should I say that the jews are doing grave worship too?? The visiting of Prophet Muhammad's mosque/mausoleum is one of respect and only to say salam there. And whoever prays there still prays facing Makkah. The correct belief about him is that he has indeed passed away from this world. And he cannot help or do anything for anyone in this physical world anymore. The ahadith mention Prophet Muhammad s.a.w talking about the people in the graves and what's going on with them. Rather than talking to them directly. The intercession on day of Judgement is solely and explicitly with the izn or will of Allah/God. If anyone worships the graves or asks people in the grave for help/things etc then he is indeed doing something wrong and against Islam. This generally happens by followers of sufism/tasawuf in countries like Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and some arab countries have these twisted beliefs too.

@Yoel Cohen man you have a Jewish name but are mentioning shia sources upon whom the ummah does not have ijma. It's like some Indian Muslim quoting some molana or buzurg or peer sahb as they call them instead of Bukhari or Muslim or Quran. Also it is very common for people to shoot down anything that is aligned with saheeh books of ahadith, sunnah and quran as "wahabbism" when it goes against their madeup beliefs. This is my last reply to you. Because mainstream Islam, Quran and Hadis are clear on tawheed(oneness of God) anything in contradiction with them is falsehood. The rafidis, mutazila, qadiriya, nation of islam, qadiani, bahai, yazidi etc can have their own fake 1/2 inch mosque made of lies. But we disassociate with them.

In all the instances in which echad denotes a complex unity, a context is given in which multiple parts are mentioned. In the instances in which echad means a singular, only a single noun is mentioned, as is the case of the Shema. It is clear to us agnostics who have no conflict of interest in the matter that there is not even a hint of the Trinity in the Shema but rather the declaration of monotheism (or henotheism) in the Hebrew scriptures.

Wahid mostly equal to cardinal number Ehad or ahad equal to whole or natural number. even an alien out of our galaxy will grasp the same sense of natural or whole number as us(along with the sense of cardinal and ordinal number) and yup, one word would depend on its context indeed. What's most importantly is how our understanding defines us to be a better human each day. It is a sensitive issue but at least we tried to share both sides perspective openly. Well that's why the first command is Iqro... read... it will helps us to open perspective and improve understanding... There are two Gods in the Torah, and this is clear, and no one can deny this.. A God sends a God....(.the Lord of hosts sent the Lord.).....(Zachariah 2:10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion! For behold, I am coming and I will dwell in your midst,” says the LORD..11 Many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and they shall become My people. And I will dwell in your midst. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you.)...... ..you have 2 choices..(1)You must believe that the Messiah is the Lord, and He was sent by the Lord, because the Lord is able to send Himself. And the Lord is unlimited, as he is able to exist in two places at the same time. He is above, sitting on the throne, and he is below in the body. (Jesus Christ).. The Father sent the Son.. And the Father and the Son are one. I and the father are one...... (2)Or you should believe that there are two Gods and that the sender is not the messenger, as Rabbi Tovia says. This makes the Lord not the Lord of hosts. This means that there are two Gods and two Lords. Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is two in one.. and I advise rabbi Tovia to go to church every Sunday morning, maybe he will understand. How did the Lord of hosts send the Lord?..
