just got mine about 3 weeks ago. It surprises me how much they change every 5 years. Smother, quieter and more torque. I pull loaded tool trailer every day and you have no clue it is back there anymore. Right when I got it when for a ride to a town a bit away for lunch and to see what it will do for mileage. 21.9 unloaded and 13 pulling loaded trailer so far. Going on a mountain trip this next weekend. Looking forward to see what it does on the rocky mountain passes.

Yep, a new feature on the 2019 GM's, when in tow mode the park brake is automatic when you stop. As someone who tows with a Silverado regularly that's a sweet option.

Exhaust Brake...its and exhaust brake. Also, set up your trailer profiles. you can have one for an empty trailer and one for a loaded trailer that will recall your trailer brake settings. 5 total trailer profiles.

Its not just the GM white, its the way the Shiny Chrome makes it pop. You can put as much chrome as you want on a white truck and it looks good. Can't say the same about black.

I got my custom ordered 2021 GMC 3500HD AT4, I prefer no chrome had that on my F350 and it pitted, but love how it tows my 14K 5th wheel RV, GM got it right with the 2020-2021 models so far, a little bigger screen maybe 10" would be nice but I hear that is in the works for 2022

The Allison Transmission as you refer is not built at the Allison Factory. It is a GM built in house transmission with Allison Badging as I have read. You might want to see if my information is correct. Thought you might want to check into this. Have a blessed day my friend. From Tennessee

Correction 2500 does not make full torque in 1st gear. Only the 3500 applies full power in 1st gear. GM put a 11.5in ring gear in 2500 and 12in ring gear in 3500.

Jayden the gm_tech I have a 2020 3500srw that I also bought from Laura Buick GMC. If you don’t believe me go look on GMC website. It even states on their site that the 3500 is not limited in 1st gear unlike the 2500 that has torque management. The 3500 has larger axels and ring gear to accomplish the 35,500 towing. Thus the 3500 platform benefits from the increased strength of the drive line including the single rear wheel trucks. Instead of spreading rumors check the website that will confirm or drive a 2500 and then drive a 3500.

Well it does make sense due to the fact that it has 2 extra wheels on the axle and 35000+ cap to accommodate the torque off the line for that significant load but the dually should have at least a 4:10 4:56 gear ratio to climb steep inclines

What's the gvwr on the truck? I saw with gas u can get over 10k like 10450 idr the exact amount. With ur 15950 trailer you will be over 26k number, so you will need a cdl to be legal. It's something to look into to stay legal.

Iv heard from a few people that the rear camera for the trailer loses connection with the truck easily and so far back as well... Once said on his 42ft 5th wheel he lost connection about half on the camper... not impressed hearing that, as alot of people have big 5th wheels they tow
