Thanks for your video. I've got this one - any idea why my dal burns to the bottom? Also, the potatoes in your video are already cooking before it reaches pressure, so how do you get to know how long it needs at pressure?

Do you fill the water to minimum? You could put your food in the steamer tray,so it doesn't burn on the bottom. You start timing once the red thing pops up.

Great video. I've just bought this. According to the manual the pressure regulator should come out for cleaning. Mine isn't lifting out. Any advice? Should I return the item as faulty?

I only cook veg, potatoes and rice in mine. Nothing smelly,so I only use a cloth in soapy water. I'm sure there will be a video somewhere,how to do it. The ring comes out,but I've never done it. Food shouldn't come into contact with it. If it does,it might be dangerous,as it's too full,and no pressure can circulate around

Ma'am, I have the very same brand new pressure cooker but i have somehow lost the timer and have been rather reluctant to use it. Could you tell me if i can still operate the cooker without the timer? Kindest regards Ma'am.

Yes,you can use any timer. It's removable when in use.

They are pretty slack. Does your still get to pressure? And do you have to wait when it's finished, until it will move to open? (When red bit drops down)

@@honestkath Thank you. I have just bought it and haven't used it yet as I may return it. The twist handle is clicking from side to side whether in the lock or unlock position. The lid is not opened while in the lock position but the twist handle wiggles. Is it really like that? I can upload a video to describe.

Have you checked it's not blocked? If you use boiling water,it will hurry it up. Mine takes about 5 minutes to come to pressure,but less if the water is boiling. You need to have heat on full,and turn down once red thing pops up. Check the valve is closed,or it takes longer

Dot. The steam one can be turned when you want to open it sooner. Do it with a long spoon,incase it scolds you. It's very loud. Or just wait for the red thing to drop,and it's ready to open safely

Hi, I’ve purchased the same pressure cooker but after three uses the ring smells so bad of meat and daal, although washed properly every time. Have you experienced the same thing ?

I've used it for rice, potatoes and vegetables. I only wipe the ring. I've not noticed a smell at all

Thank you. But please dont put it in cold water while the pressure cooker is on. It is extremely dangerous, it could explode. I know someone has experienced it. So Please wait until all the air is fully out.
