Tanner, I grew up in Indiana and was fortunate to have lived in Colorado for 10 years and really can appreciate your feelings and reactions to the Grandeur of the mountains. The altitude doesn't take your breath away, its the beauty! I moved for work and miss it everyday! Stay safe!

Hi, Thanks for the videos and information on towing with a Prius. I recently replaced my 2008 Gen two with 164,000 miles that I bought with 56,000 on it and three years old and loved that car. I bought the 2021 Prius LE and think having a trailer would be awesome. My reluctance is Toyota does not recommend it and with a new car would not want to void the warranty. Did you have any braking, power or overheating issues? I've seen on the web Toyota says you can tow 1000 lbs, any idea what would be different?

I've been to Ohio twice and the drive does take about 24 hours. I have only taken I-80, so I didn't recognize that "Welcome to Colorado" sign location. Rain or sunshine, the weather almost always feels great up in the mountains to ride or drive through.

Hey man, I was watching this and wanted to ask you a question. I’m about to build a custom bike trailer for my ktm. The total loaded trailer weight will be 400-450 pounds including the trailer. I’m thinking about setting the tongue weight at about 60-80 pounds. I’ll carry roughly 60-100 pounds of gear in the car as well. I am worried about using a Prius as a daily and a motocross transit vehicle but wanted your thoughts. I’m well within the capabilities of it on paper but paper only goes that far.. thanks for replying if you see it!

Hey man I got a question maybe you can help me when I’m towing with my Honda same trailer flipped axel like yours and getting to speed or staying at a certain speed under 50mph I get like the push pull feeling from the trailer but anything around 65-80 it’s seems pretty smooth idk lmk if you have any ideas
