I have a 1993 K3500 ext cab, srw, long bed, 6.5TD w/ mech injection, and NV4500 manual. 340 K miles and going strong! 92 and 93 are the sweet years b/c of the mechanical injection. These are great trucks! And you are correct, they are rare!

mine is manual diesel but 2wd it is a dually however and quad cab i love it 4wd would be nice but i have other 4wd trucks

Cool truck.... if want the 6.5 to last many years, swap out the harmonic balancer for a new one. The rubber may look fine, but it's hard and dry thus greatly reducing it's ability to work properly

I've really loved my 6.5! Just do some research on 6.5s before hand so you know what issues to look for when buying one

I was going to say you might have a glow plug or three that needs attention to smooth out the start, but I see that you found that in another video.

I found it out when the truck would no longer start unless it was plugged in lol.

I think it has stock piping with a cherry bomb muffler. It was done before I bought the truck.

The cost of the truck plus transferring the title and DMV fees was all well under 3K. I paid like $2500 just for the truck itself.
