While I don't have as much interest in minecraft anymore I really appreciate these videos. I think you were probably the reason I got into the medieval genre in the first place from watching your videos back in the day. I like these a lot now though as I don't have to play minecraft to enjoy it.

Fun fact: the majority of medieval homes were just one room. Everything happened in that one room---the cooking, eating, sleeping, copulating. Everybody lived in that one room with you: wife, kids, grandparents... and livestock. If you were a little above average, you might have two rooms. The house described in this video could only belong to a wealthy merchant or professional.

Do you know roughly when these types of houses were prevalent? You mention the 14th century, 1300-1399, but before this do you know what kind of structure common UK folks lived in? (Straw huts in London it appears, if you can believe Ridley Scotts "Robin Hood" set around 1199)

That seems rather extravagant for a commoner's house. Most nobles didn't even have multiple rooms in their houses.

That is of course correct. However there are common elements in many houses from several cities from several countries. So it's save to say that there can be an average town house
