First game I played: - I am amne, no one days night one. - Marshal activates on day 2, kills 2 evils and a townie - Marshal gets killed on night 2 - I remembered I was a marshal somehow. - A day or two later, I used Marshal - kills 3 more evil - Eliminated the last evil on the following day.

In BTOS2 (where marshal comes from) there's judge (NE) - this makes voting anonymous with everyone called "Jury" and the judge called "court" in chat (they also get extra votes) - this is kinda designed to counter marshal

That would nullify the whole purpose of the role unless they so happened to pick all coven/ck…the purpose of socialite is to stop the coven from being able to coordinate, which gives town more time and makes it more likely that coven will make a mistake as well as not being able to share recent information if they didn’t do it during the day.

Hey pipe, a quick hot fix was there (R.1.1.46) Hey townies! A quick hotfix patch to address some issues in the MEGA patch. Bug fixes: - Fixed a bug where tribunals could cause roles and players to appear in the graveyard that were incorrect, even after the next game in the lobby started. - socialite entertain ability is no longer appear to happen multiple times. - socialite can now correctly use day ability during trial and other day phases. - socialite and marshal potion master reveal potion results fixed. - added marshal to the unique keyword. - socialite and marshal now are correctly sorted in the game guide and scrolls list. - Reordered Doomsayer, Ritualistic, and enchanter menus so the socialite and marshal are in their correct place in the menu. Improvements - removed mention of pestilence from the drink keyword as it is no longer counterattacks role blockers.

Still can't believe there was like. Three TT Trappers in a row LOL. This was an incredibly fun stream, thanks for uploading some of it! Some context that I feel should be included here in comments: 6, in this video, got Marshal twice on stream. Both times they were conj'd D2. (Curiously, and I can't remember exactly, I believe had witched someone *into* them, but the game told me *their* role was Marshal. Assuming the other person who claimed witched HAD been my controlled target, I don't know why I got the person they went to's role instead of the witched's role. I wish I had recorded my PoV to confirm that and possibly submit it as a bug.) (edit: ran a custom and sorta confirmed, apparently same thing happens with PM as well and the two roles.)

IMO, 10:14 this is proof why Ghost mode is stupid. In all any its near 100% loss rate for town. Ghost mode games are made boring to watch due to the fact Coven knows alive coven, apoc knows alive apoc. They will talk in dead chat saying who they want dead, effectively vetoing their respective faction members, so ONLY town looses as the only ones who dont know who's who. Its alive coven/apoc+dead coven+dead apoc vs town, which in all any is 50% chance of evil majority, all they need do is sheep one or two confused alive town to auto-win. Seriously think you shouldn't stream with ghost mode. Watching while you're dead with your commentary on what's happening and your thoughts on whats going to happen is more fun.

He was playing on stream with a private lobby so dead voting was to keep the stream interesting even when he dies n1 and has to spend most of the round in the graveyard.

Pipe says he does it because he's streaming a custom lobby with his viewers and doesn't really have a way to prevent stream sniping (especially since ToS as a social deduction game is inherently not very streamer-interaction friendly), so instead he just lets town go ham with ghost votes, making it more of a casual "anything goes" kinda game (and also discourages people from opposing factions killing him early to prevent him voting). In non-stream games he doesn't use ghost votes.

Socialite sounds a bit OP particularly with a marshal. You basically can just write down the numbers of everybody in that night chat and freely lynch anyone not in it.
