Town of Salem is back today with some werewolf gameplay. In this werewolf game I make an insane D1 scum read that puts me in an excellent position to take control of the game. Town is very powerful in today's tos meta though, and so I have an uphill battle against mafia and a powerful town combination. What risks will I take and will they pay off?

Yikes, what a throw from town. All town had to do at the end was Jailor jail and exe one person and Escort roleblock the other person and then town votes out last maf the next day or jail and exes them the next night. Instead, Escort had voted up the Jailor claim allowing Maf to win a game that was near impossible for them to win.

One time I was jester. Being jester, I was gonna randomly say "This guy evil yes." the worst part, the people I said were evil, were actually evil. The town thought I was good and the mafia immediately killed me night 2. I just wanted to die :(

Dude I literally almost won a WW game using the exact same strategy. I usually claim sheriff and scum read someone D2 and put them in my will as sus. If it works, I'm likely lasting until the end. If not, NK is a hard enough role to win as anyways so there's no point in playing it conservatively.

Here's also a great scenario, if you were on a neutral team, like vampire in town of salem or cult leaders in other games like mafia, you could basically out yourself and say that you would target the mafias with the civilians, if the civilians are dumb enough, they won't realize it after a few days.

Yeah, WW is one of the weakest NK to be honest. I still think sk is worse (it’s frankly just a worse GF, you’re outed by escort and are susp to sherif), but only attacking every other night is tough. It is a more fun role in any all though, you can really play the exe angle well. In the end, I usually go on Jailor N2 as it: Big risk, but you can wipe some important town, which gives you a better shot.

Yeah, SK is absolute garbage. Only good thing is it kills N1. Besides that though, you lose if escort blocks you or jailor jails you. It would be cool if SK had a unique feature like rb'ing everyone else that visits your target, basically killing regardless of whether TP or LO is on them. It might seem overpowered seeing as you can kill jailor N1, but then again it would be nice to see an end to the "Jailor here tplo on me" meta.

I think they need to rethink the entire NK win condition. They only win with NE and killing(or watch them die) the entire town and mafia/coven are very hard to pull off. Maybe they need unique win condition like Pirate.

Skimm I managed to do the same thing some time before as sk and I kept on scum reading maf but in the end there was an escort, mayor and confirmed vet and since there weren’t any Random maf left, they put the suspicion on me and I lost. Imo this strategy doesn’t work as Nk that well. Of course it could work but you will have to balance how many maf and how many townies there are.

This is off topic but last night one of my games glitched and it was the weirdest glitch I've ever had. The game basically didn't move anywhere from the name lobby, and all the chat was where you see people's names. I could see the chat, the death notes but not any roles or names, so I didn't even know my own name or role. I decided to stay by though and my role happened to be a town role and town won so I'm not complaining lmao

Silent ww strat is super risky. If a townie visits you you're screwed. Especially since you were 'Confirmed', TP could have been on you Also tylder threw at the end, he voted the jailor. If he didn't they could have gotten a win by jailor exeing the GF and then exing/jailing the RM turned mafioso.

I think you definitely should've killed town that night, just not the Jailor. lol. Silent WW will never get you anywhere other than the grave. Town/Mafia maintains majority over you too easily if you don't kill. Escort was confirmed, Mayor was confirmed, and Jailor of course. The only 2 unconfirmed towns were the TPs, but unfortunately b/c they are TPs you have to kill them before you can kill Jailor. With mafia already on the chopping block, Town would've quickly overpowered you if you had not killed one of them. I think the play was to get rid of the TPs at night, get rid of the mafia during the day, and then kill the Jailor. Would help if mafia kills a tp for you too.

Despite the late game throwing here, u did a flawless judgement there. Why? U werent too agressive, u just had a bad luck. From my pov, either that bg dont understand the mechanism of heal/protect on the mayor or that bg was too honest on his intention because he thought town got the upper hand well i dunno. But if u delayed your attack, it would became bigger regret than this one. Believe me because i played non lethal ww, and still they thrown me to the tree (haha).
