the wall looks very good and i really like the warehouses.its amazing what you can achieve with a few sheets of plasticard.ive got a load more on order as my next project is warehousing like yours above my track around the station area.also the wills girder kit comes out well dont it.overall building it all yourself does save alot of money and looks much better when its your own creation. 5* my friend well done!!!

@Pearson4472 An average LED used about 2.5v max. I use 470 ohm resistors with them on a 12v supply. The hornby decoder can only supply 100mA for lights. I would suggest using a 470 to start with, if thats too dim then switch to a 220 ohm and if thats too dim try 100 ohm and if its still too dim i wouldn't bother using a resistor at all.

@bloodmarine77 Thanks mate, doing all that with scaledale or bachmann scenecraft would have cost me fortune. I'm very pleased with the wills girders, i've just built and spayed another 2 of them. I'm looking forward to seeing your warehouses take shape.

Just watching some of the older videos , my challenge has some similarities and your efforts are very helpful now I have time . Plasticard and girders appears my next thing

@jasonandjoesrailway The board is MDF and is about 12mm thick. It has quite a bit of support to keep it level.

@ipodwindow It is from slaters plasticard. It comes pre coloured red but needs weathering and dulling down.

@applecrumble2508 The plasticard is very good. The advantage over paper is that it is textured, making it look more real.

This is just fantastic! Your videos are always very informative and makes me want to improve my layout... I must try using the brick plastacard at some point... Probably a much better effect than using just superquick brick paper? :P

How thick is the board mate, and what type of board is it, does it need support underneath or is it holding up at just the edges? Love the layout.

Great re-development, you should take up town planning for your council :) On another note, in reference to the removability of the town, are you fixing the vehicles to the scene or will you just remove them and the buildings by hand if you get underneath?

@EverardJunction for the tunnel idea i am on my layout going to cut a car in half and glue half of it in the tunnel to make it look like it goes into a tunnel :) cheers

where u have the yellow car and carvan why don't u paint a tunnal with some white and red dots for the car light just to make it look like that road goes somewhere instead of just a blue wall
