This is a simply stunning and stunningly simple property, just gorgeous. The 295k price point (roughly 252k GBP) compared to U.K. or USA is such a bargain. The rooms are classical, elegant, exquisitely furnished, a case of less is waaaaay more. architecture and history are allowed to speak for themselves. Whoever designed and arranged the interior has wonderful taste, the kitchen was already perfect and then they added that mirror, what a touch! And then upstairs is the terrace with tons of potential. I love your drone shot at the end, it’s both informative but also great film-making. This one will be snapped up!

The “second” bedroom really makes more sense as the master. You have the en-suite bathroom and the walk in closet. The center room is the living room/dining room, and the 2nd bedroom off of it

@ well if you are having guests over to your home for drinks, they will be gone soon and you will have your privacy once again. I’m assuming you won’t be having guests over every night. So as a living arrangement, it makes much more sense, unless of course you are running a brothel

When someone writes “oh but when you have guests over they will have to walk through the bedroom” my response is “honestly, how many guests do you plan on having over to your home and how often”? If you are planning on having 30 people over 5x a week, and just inviting strange random people over to your home to hangout on the roof than I can understand the comment about not wanting people walking through the bedroom. But if you are like most people, you are likely to only invite close friends over every once in a while. Even then, you might go up to the roof with them 20-30% of the time. So unless you have a sling set up in your bedroom that you don’t want anyone to see (possible of course) what’s the problem? Are you actually going to reorganize your entire life to suit your entertaining habits? If so, you must entertain quite often. That’s all 🤷‍♂️

Very nice, property. The top terrace has a lot of potential with amazing views and the kitchen is lovely and authentic, unique, beautifully thoughtout. Doesn't look like a whole lot of money has been spent on the property, the entrance doors for example look a bit haggered and old, though keeping the theme would expect new front doors. I noticed also there is a gas cylinder instead of internal/hidden gas pipes run into the kitchen, that is a bit annoying having to change gas cylinders to cook when required but in a town like Oria you'd think there would a be gas supply to the kitchen we are not in the remote mountains!!, also didnt see the gas boiler for hot water? Not sure if there is heating, but looks like just air conditioning? No radiators seen or hot air units? From early November-March you will be very cold, especially with the high ceilings without heating, a holiday home you'd been fine with air conditioning only. Love the floors, especially in the big bedroom, beautiful small terrace, would put out a very small table and with 2 chairs if can fit. This town house is very spacious, bathrooms are nice but I am not so sure as mentioned, much money has been spent to do up. Nethertheless spendid and thanks. Also is there new electrics throughout? ..... Forgot to say, bathrooms look great, love the rustic style. Thanks.............sorry had to edit after watching 2nd time, too much money compared to others I have seen in Oria on the web @127sqm......needs a lot more work, new front doors, terrace tided up and restored, heating is essential in Oria winter time, kitchen cabinets needed and nicer drawers not cheap wood.......I think it's been cosmetically repaired/designed very nicely and well thought-out, but not enough money has been spent to justify the price. The floors didn't look polished either, bathrooms looked rather cheap, not high materials though I could be wrong. Well I may be wrong but I wouldn't pay more than €200K for this place. Great video though.

It is a great size but definitely disappointed in the kitchens and bathrooms. For me it looks like they used the cheapest materials for the rooms and white washed everything else. Also notice there is only the downstairs door entrance and not one at the landing. It can use some extra interior lighting. Do they plan on finishing the exterior of the property and is there car parking available? You mentioned original windows and door, have they been double or tripled glazed. It needs a good clean. There are parking spaces right down by the entrance. I disagree with your opinions on kitchen and bathrooms, I love what they have done with them and feel that although very simple I think it’s in the character of the property and the style of renovation they have gone for. I really liked this home. Problem is that I don't want to contribute to the gentrification of the town, as the price is very affordable to me, but not to locals. Plus, I've been planning on relocating to Spain. I speak Spanish, but while I understand a lot of Italian, I have problems with other than the basics in Italian. I do have Italian relatives who speak Italian and would probably love me purchasing such a property. I'll be in Spain next month looking for properties and can't rule out Italy as an option. The food is just spectacular in Spain and Italy! Slight edge to Italy, but Spain a bit healthier. Need to stay away from pasta/pizza. Also, not sure if I can live "car-less" there, a big issue as Native Californian (Los Angeles) and love my high-end German sports car (which I seldom drive). I want to be car-less, so train service critical.

You need a car in Pulgia; period. Not possible to see Pulgia on public transport, having travelled Pulgia myself, a car is essential. Public transport is poor, unlike central and northern Italy which has fantastic public transport. Italy is a lot cheaper for property than in Spain. Depending on your food likes, for me Italian food beats Spanish food very easily. I have never had bad food in Italy been travelling there off and on for 30 years. Pizza/pasta In Italy is not fattening, you are eating healthy ingredients, most homemade, including pasta especially in Pulgia. In countries such as the UK and US, food is very processed. You will see in Italy the food markets in towns are amazing, all from the farms. Fish dishes in Pulgia are so fresh and are incredible.

I would be hesitant about owning any property property that is connected to anotehr property ... just watched sara and luca and the 1 euro house that they just finished all the platering on is NOW leaking from the other units attached to their unit ... so they need to rip it all out start over ... yeah I woudl pass on any townhouse

Sorry to hear of their issues. It’s the problem with the 1 euros properties, you have to buy in towns which are often falling to pieces, this is not the case with Oria. These properties have been around for many years and are some of the most solid structures you will come across. Thanks for sharing your opinion!
