@6073 жыл бұрын
I don't remember how, but I found this creator once on Twitter. I followed him, because I enjoyed seeing his project updates. This project was one of the most interesting ones, but I definitely hadn't expected it to turn into a game, let alone a console game (and the same for him, I think). It is very cool! I would buy this, if it was released physically. But I guess it's too much of a budget title for that.
@TheFinnish13 жыл бұрын
Why do you need a physical copy?
@6073 жыл бұрын
@@TheFinnish1 I don't need a copy at all, but if I had a physical copy, I'd probably play it now and then. If I had a digital copy, I'm not so sure I would. Besides, digital copies aren't anywhere near as fun to own.
@TheFinnish13 жыл бұрын
@@607 I can't agree about the times I would play it, but It could be because I am mostly a pc gamer and have over 70 games on steam so I've gotten used to it. But I've gotta agree that physical copies are more fun to buy and own, sadly its hard for indie devs to get their money worth by printing physical copies
@6073 жыл бұрын
@@TheFinnish1 Yeah, I'm glad that digital releases are possible nowadays! Otherwise a game like this probably wouldn't have been released on a Nintendo console. I have some games on Steam as well, and some games I bought off GOG, but I never play them... Another reason that I opt for games that were released physically on Switch is that after the Wii Store shut down (for me, unexpectedly), I decided that on Wii U I wanted to buy all digital only games that I'd like before the Wii U shop would shut down. That lead to me prioritising digital only games above games that were also released physically (because I could get those later second-hand if I didn't get them now), and that really didn't feel right...
@cathygrandstaff19573 жыл бұрын
@@607 I actually find it easier to play digital games for a bit every now and then. With physical you have to switch carts every time you want to play a different game so they’re better for games you want to play continuously and the stop once you’re finished with them.

Yes! After playing it a while there are little things missing. Some people walking around or even just standing in groups or sitting on the little benches would add a lot. I also really wish you could get a garden without it having to be surrounded by buildings. Some bridges would also be a good idea. I wouldn't need a lot more options, it's just that I end up with a lot of similar designs.

Because it's not really marketed as a game, but as a town building toy, as mentioned by the developer himself. There isn't really any gameplay here, you just build your town and see what you can make. It's a fun little thing that lets you build infinitely. It's not for everyone, of course.
